“Our group of 3 couples stayed here for 4 nights in late October. The house is 100% as stated and pictured in the listing - absolutely breath takingly gorgeous! We chose this house from a long list available for our dates a lot due to reviews and were so glad we did - the reviews and house did not let us down one bit. We are thinking of bringing our 3 married children and families and staying here in the future. Highly highly recommend this house!”

“My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Tripp Lake Retreat. The house feels like a home away from home, nestled in the trees with a view of the lake. Fall is a lovely time to be here and relax with friends. Short walks on crisp mornings, drives to local craft stores and relaxing by the fire made the trip just what we wanted for our time together. Debbie is a gracious host and responsive to needs. I will definitely consider staying again as Tripp Lake Retreat becomes a favorite spot.”

“Couldn’t get into one of the rooms shown but I think the door was swollen, decent sized place right off of downtown, easy parking and access. Will be staying again come spring. Only real issue was I couldn’t get the thermostat to work, it only went to AC not heat (I don’t believe there was AC in the home? I didn’t see a condenser outside) but there was electric heat in every room so we used that during our stay since it was only 2 nights. My son loved the bunk beds and we were able to squeeze...

“If you are looking for a lake front property, enjoy being on the lake with your family this is the perfect house. You get the peacefulness of the lake with a short drive to Lake George.”

“Coffee pot was not cleaned, 2 nd floor full bed has an old mattress and they said that they rolled into the middle. It’s an overall nice woodsy cabin. We would stay there again knowing what we’re in store for. A very fair price, with an excellent location to lake George and Gore mountain. Dogs welcome is a plus also ”

“Generally a good stay and close to our homes for a family get together...so hard with family so busy these days. The lake is close and nice, great for kids. A few points where house could have been a bit better, but owner was accessible and accommodating. Make sure you bring towels and bath stuff. 👍👍”

“A fantastic location for those looking to get away in the Adirondacks. Conveniently close to Chestertown, as well as many outdoor activities, Eagles Nest was an awesome location to stay at with friends and family. ”

“Great location. We enjoyed our overdue gateway, very peaceful, though it’s very close to the bridge, the traffic noise didn’t bother us at all - was drowned out by the water rushing. The mattress in master bedroom is too soft for us to sleep in (found blankets or something tucked in between mattress and box spring). We wished that they disclosed about the cameras installed outside”
