Just Perfect!
I hosted 10 Ladies for a retreat and it was the perfect space of serenity and tranquilty! Greater with floor to ceiling views of the lake everyday was the most peaceful way to start our day! Everyone had their own individual spaces as well as the perfect spaces for gathering! The layout is perfect to share meals, conversations, game night and movie night! Thank You Dan & Sara for your attentiveness and responsiveness! We can’t wait to return to this BEAUTIFUL property!

Wonderful memories
Our 3 families plus our 80-year old mom had such a wonderful stay. The goal was to enjoy time with each other and make lasting memories and this home was perfect! We found there to be plenty of room for our group, and appreciated all of the kitchen amenities, puzzles, and space. We hope to back again soon!

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay during Christmas week! The house was very clean. The great room/kitchen area is very spacious and comfortable for a large group to enjoy meals and family activities together.The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals. The views of Lake Norman are amazing! I would definitely recommend this property!

Thanksgiving Retreat
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving retreat with extended family of all ages. The home was absolutely perfect! The view was amazing, the neighborhood was quiet and the amenities were just fantastic both inside and out. Thank you so much for making our Thanksgiving so wonderful!

Oasis on Lake Norman
This home is a unique and beautiful place to stay with lakefront views and access. The layout of the home is perfect for privacy as well as unity in the spacious kitchen/living area. There are multiple opportunities to spend time outdoors, and the serenity is absolutely wonderful for reconnecting with family. We loved this home!

Great family trip
The property was perfect for our large group. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. Beautiful views, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Love the large kitchen and living area. The workout room was a nice bonus!

Spacious, comfortable and beautiful!
The home is set up wonderfully for a large family with plenty of space as well as being fully furnished with anything and everything you could possibly need for cooking, entertainment, and sleeping. Not to mention the outstanding views! Gina was easy to get in touch with and so friendly! Would love to visit here again!!

Thanksgiving to Remember
This house exceeded every expectation of our family and the photos don't do it justice. It is the most well-stocked kitchen for any rental property we've stayed. Our group was 16 ranging in age from 2 to 68 and everyone had something to do. The communication with Gina was top notch - she went out of her way to make our stay special.

Great vacation and location
We had a lovely time during our stay at the Lake Norman house. Gina was very responsive and helpful. The house and location was really nice. The location of the yellow room is interesting - there is no private inside access. To get into/out of the room, you have to go outside or through the primary suite. We rented the boat from the owner and it worked fine, but it was showing some real wear and tear. Some of the seats were torn, so they used tape to repair them, but it didn't work and just left a very sticky residue that kept getting on our hands. The kids had a great time tubing though. Overall, we were happy with the rental.

Beautiful, unique and well-equipped lake house!
Loved this expansive home with gorgeous views and lots of different areas to hang out, including a large covered dock. Debby and Gina were helpful and super responsive. Highly recommend!

Great peaceful location
The property and location was perfect for our holiday get away. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Lake Norman is beautiful. The house has a unique set up with separate wings and a good amount of stairs. Very cozy and welcoming.

Awesome time at Lake Norman!
This property was perfect and introduced us to Lake Norman in fine fashion. My extended family was here for a weddings and we used every bed available. The huge great room with the kitchen was fabulous for our "gathering place" and the deck was perfect for our breakfast and coffee. The layout of the house is unique and cool - we loved the architecture and history associated with it. We also rented the pontoon boat at the house and it was awesome. Highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Lake Norman and we loved it!!
The house was just as pictured, beautiful, well stocked and clean. The host, Gina, came and gave us a tour of the house and showed us where to find everything. She was very responsive to any texts with questions and always helpful when needed. Would recommend the house 100%!

50th Anniversary celebration
The house and the setting on the lake could not have been better. Five families were very comfortable. The great room was large enough for all of us to be together indoors and lots of outdoor activities for all ages!

This property is amazing!!
It looks just like the picture's and was perfect for our large family. Everyone was able to spend time together in the large main area or if someone wanted to get away there is plenty of little nooks to do so. The dock was amazing as there are plenty of lounge chairs and its nice because there was always one side of some shade if needed. The bedding was also great with very nice sheets. There is even an area in the front for little fires and a hammock. Also it was not a long drive to the grocery or to restaurant's or shopping if wanting. We would definitely rent this place again!!

A Retreat
We are an intergenerational family of 14 who enjoying traveling together each summer at home in the States and on occasion abroad. Our go-to source for accommodations is VRBO. Once again this summer, we were pleased with the accommodations and we have recommended this home to friends and family planning week-long holidays in the fall. Everything you could possibly want or need is already here. The house is exactly as described by VRBO. Connections with the property manager were stellar. Frank Lloyd Wright in its design, the architectural beauty of the house, and of the surrounding grounds added to the experience. Would we come again? You bet!
