Wonderful one night stay!

I booked one night to spend on the lake for my boyfriend because he was turning 30! The place was wonderful and it was just me, bf, and his best friend. There is so much room and lots of outdoor activities provided by the property. Perfect place to spend the whole day at the lake!

This was such a great property for our family! The variety of available water craft (kayaks, SUP, floats) was amazing. Being on a little cove off the main lake meant that we didn’t have to deal with a ton of noise and wake from boats. The house had everything we needed for a week away. We can’t wait to come back again next summer!

Lakeside sweet retreat

We brought our 2 granddaughters to the lake house for spring break 2025. Our oldest granddaughter LOVES to fish and it was as if the fishing was qued up for us because she was pulling out one after the other. We were close to many restaurants and shopping. A great vacation was had by all!

Fishing trip

We came in for a fishing trip and Lee’s place was perfect! Plenty of room, convenient location to lake access and town all in one! House had all the conveniences of home, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. Highly recommend! Thank you Lee!

Amazing getaway vacation!

This has been one of the best getaway trips we have been on. Our son wanted to celebrate his 13th birthday in a special way by going on a fishing trip, so we searched for a place right on the lake. We came across this place, and it was the absolute best decision! We all have loved it so much, and we are going to start a new tradition by booking this place around this time yearly. Communication was on point, and the place is very clean, very stylish, and cozy. We cannot wait to come back next year!

Family Girls Weekend

We spent three nights here for a family girls weekend and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. It is close enough to shopping and stores to be convenient but has everything on property that you could possibly want to relax and enjoy yourself. We enjoyed reading and talking on the dock, made s'mores using the fire pit, and there was nothing we needed in the kitchen that wasn't there. We highly recommend this cottage and will stay again in the future.

Gem of a place!

My group of friends 40's-50's stayed here for a quick girls' getaway. The location is lovely located just outside town along the lake near farm land. We felt safe and I enjoyed walking near the cornfields. Denver is a cute town with everything you need within a 10-minute drive. The house is a perfect setup with everything you need to enjoy your trip. It is evident the host spent a great deal of time trying to think through every detail so you could enjoy your stay. This includes sound machines in every room, kitchen essentials, soft towels, and blankets.... the list goes on. It was wonderful not to have to run to the store after a day of driving to grab stuff like trash bags. The host was excellent with communication and made the stay even better. I would not hesitate to stay here again and plan to!

Charlotte/Lake Norman Perfection!

We booked this place to celebrate my husband's Memorial Day weekend birthday -- just the two of us. We wanted time on the lake outside of the Charlotte Motor Speedway/Coca Cola experience I bought him for his birthday. The property exceeded our expectations -- so much so, we didn't eat a single meal out, opting to cook/grill out to maximize our time on the lake. We wanted for nothing. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, with every amenity -- the kayaks, paddleboards, firepit, dock gazebo, comfy outside furniture. Inside, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we would expect and more. We will definitely stay here again!

A Tranquil Getaway

This is such a wonderful place to spend with your family. I especially enjoyed the beautiful lake view and the tranquility that it brought. Its private pier brought the convenience to deliver a rental boat to us. We sailed to a dock-and-dine waterfront restaurant at Mooresville. We also did kayaks, paddleboards, and sailing during our stay. The house is very clean and the host is very responsive for our questions. Two nights were not enough and we wish we could stay longer. We definitely will come back.

No need to stay anywhere else!

We had a great time staying here! The property has everything we wanted with a rental...We had so much fun using the paddle boards, kayaks and floats...It was the first time my spouse kayaked...so thanks for the memories! They even supplied backyard games which we used all weekend! We enjoyed grilling outside looking out at the water and then had our evening cocktail at the fire pit in the evening. Lee was a great host and took care of all our needs. She communicated well and provided us with detailed instructions and recommendations for the best local shops and restaurants to try. We will definitely book this property again!

Awesome vacation cabin!

We really enjoyed our stayed at this lovely and cozy lake cabin. Our family had a wonderful time for a weekend getaway. The house is super clean and tidy. Host is very nice and responsive. Will definitely come back to visit next time!

great house on the lake

the house is very well located and communication with Jaime was very easy. Staying in October was great. The weather was beautiful, water warm enough for kids to play during hours and we were almost the only ones on the lake !!!! So all in all, a fantastic experience at a great house on the lake.

Relaxing getaway!

First impressions are important. Our first impressions of the property were that it was very clean and well maintained. We appreciated that Jamie supplied plenty of towels, pillows and paper goods. We didn't know until just before we arrived that the yard was fenced in, which our dog appreciated! While we didn't use most of the water "toys", it was great to have the option. The best feature is the oversized gazebo incorporated into the dock- really nice. We also ventured over to the farm across the road to purchase some delicious fresh eggs. I hired a fishing guide for a half day who was terrific, and it was a highlight of my visit. -Steve and Donna

Summer vacation

We found this property last year during the pandemic and it fit all our family’s needs so we decided to come back for a second year in a row. The outdoor setup is perfect for us. Easy to launch our kayaks, our boys and our lab have easy access to the lake and great fishing from the pier. It’s close to all grocery stores, restaurants and cool treats (Pelican snowballs and cookies and creme ice cream). The owner Jamie is responsive and sends detailed info for the house. Such a great time, our boys actually requested to come back this year instead of go any where else!! Thank you for a great property and experience.

Floating and fireworks

The house is in a terrific location and the neighbors are very friendly. The cove is wonderful for floating and fishing. The house has multiple floats, paddle boards and kayaks. The outdoor seating was great and we enjoyed it every morning and evening. Great location to find a spot and watch fireworks. We spent the majority of our time outside and on the water. I highly recommend Pomodoro’s Italian restaurant, delicious. Jaime was great to communicate with, provided all the details to the house, where to launch our boat, local recommendations, had snacks and water waiting when we arrived!

Solitude on Lake Norman

We loved our stay! What a beautiful and peaceful location and I can't imagine another lake house visit that did not include a covered deck on the water! We loved the paddle boards and giant float, swimming and kayaking. It's far enough away to unplug and close enough to civilization to get anything you need within a 10 minute drive or less.

Fun Week

Jami is an excellent owner who communicated well. This property has everything you could want with a rental, paddleboards, kayak, floats and a lake lounger blow up. Fishing off the dock was excellent, we caught way too many bluegill but to break up the monotony we also caught some nice size bass and catfish. If you have children or visiting relatives that have children, this place will keep them busy. There was definitely no boredom. Matt
