Gem of a place!
My group of friends 40's-50's stayed here for a quick girls' getaway. The location is lovely located just outside town along the lake near farm land. We felt safe and I enjoyed walking near the cornfields. Denver is a cute town with everything you need within a 10-minute drive. The house is a perfect setup with everything you need to enjoy your trip. It is evident the host spent a great deal of time trying to think through every detail so you could enjoy your stay. This includes sound machines in every room, kitchen essentials, soft towels, and blankets.... the list goes on. It was wonderful not to have to run to the store after a day of driving to grab stuff like trash bags. The host was excellent with communication and made the stay even better. I would not hesitate to stay here again and plan to!

Charlotte/Lake Norman Perfection!
We booked this place to celebrate my husband's Memorial Day weekend birthday -- just the two of us. We wanted time on the lake outside of the Charlotte Motor Speedway/Coca Cola experience I bought him for his birthday. The property exceeded our expectations -- so much so, we didn't eat a single meal out, opting to cook/grill out to maximize our time on the lake. We wanted for nothing. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, with every amenity -- the kayaks, paddleboards, firepit, dock gazebo, comfy outside furniture. Inside, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we would expect and more. We will definitely stay here again!

A Tranquil Getaway
This is such a wonderful place to spend with your family. I especially enjoyed the beautiful lake view and the tranquility that it brought. Its private pier brought the convenience to deliver a rental boat to us. We sailed to a dock-and-dine waterfront restaurant at Mooresville. We also did kayaks, paddleboards, and sailing during our stay. The house is very clean and the host is very responsive for our questions. Two nights were not enough and we wish we could stay longer. We definitely will come back.

No need to stay anywhere else!
We had a great time staying here! The property has everything we wanted with a rental...We had so much fun using the paddle boards, kayaks and floats...It was the first time my spouse kayaked...so thanks for the memories! They even supplied backyard games which we used all weekend! We enjoyed grilling outside looking out at the water and then had our evening cocktail at the fire pit in the evening. Lee was a great host and took care of all our needs. She communicated well and provided us with detailed instructions and recommendations for the best local shops and restaurants to try. We will definitely book this property again!

Awesome vacation cabin!
We really enjoyed our stayed at this lovely and cozy lake cabin. Our family had a wonderful time for a weekend getaway. The house is super clean and tidy. Host is very nice and responsive. Will definitely come back to visit next time!

great house on the lake
the house is very well located and communication with Jaime was very easy. Staying in October was great. The weather was beautiful, water warm enough for kids to play during hours and we were almost the only ones on the lake !!!! So all in all, a fantastic experience at a great house on the lake.

Relaxing getaway!
First impressions are important. Our first impressions of the property were that it was very clean and well maintained. We appreciated that Jamie supplied plenty of towels, pillows and paper goods. We didn't know until just before we arrived that the yard was fenced in, which our dog appreciated! While we didn't use most of the water "toys", it was great to have the option. The best feature is the oversized gazebo incorporated into the dock- really nice. We also ventured over to the farm across the road to purchase some delicious fresh eggs. I hired a fishing guide for a half day who was terrific, and it was a highlight of my visit. -Steve and Donna

Summer vacation
We found this property last year during the pandemic and it fit all our family’s needs so we decided to come back for a second year in a row. The outdoor setup is perfect for us. Easy to launch our kayaks, our boys and our lab have easy access to the lake and great fishing from the pier. It’s close to all grocery stores, restaurants and cool treats (Pelican snowballs and cookies and creme ice cream). The owner Jamie is responsive and sends detailed info for the house. Such a great time, our boys actually requested to come back this year instead of go any where else!! Thank you for a great property and experience.

Floating and fireworks
The house is in a terrific location and the neighbors are very friendly. The cove is wonderful for floating and fishing. The house has multiple floats, paddle boards and kayaks. The outdoor seating was great and we enjoyed it every morning and evening. Great location to find a spot and watch fireworks. We spent the majority of our time outside and on the water. I highly recommend Pomodoro’s Italian restaurant, delicious. Jaime was great to communicate with, provided all the details to the house, where to launch our boat, local recommendations, had snacks and water waiting when we arrived!

Solitude on Lake Norman
We loved our stay! What a beautiful and peaceful location and I can't imagine another lake house visit that did not include a covered deck on the water! We loved the paddle boards and giant float, swimming and kayaking. It's far enough away to unplug and close enough to civilization to get anything you need within a 10 minute drive or less.

Fun Week
Jami is an excellent owner who communicated well. This property has everything you could want with a rental, paddleboards, kayak, floats and a lake lounger blow up. Fishing off the dock was excellent, we caught way too many bluegill but to break up the monotony we also caught some nice size bass and catfish. If you have children or visiting relatives that have children, this place will keep them busy. There was definitely no boredom. Matt

Lake Cabin
Nice setting with excellent access to Lake Norman. We docked our boat out back for a couple of days during our stay which was great. Dogs loved the access to the lake. View is awesome.

Temporary lodging
The lake was beautiful and had we been there for leisure, I'm sure we would have enjoyed the dock, kayak, paddle boat, etc. Unfortunately, it was "temporary housing" for us since we were remodeling the house we purchased and it wasn't ready for occupation. The owner was very nice and the house had a welcoming feel.

Quick Family Getaway
House was right on Lake Norman so the location couldn’t have been better. We spent the three days we stayed away from the house during the day— hiking, playing disc golf, exploring NC and shopping. Our boys loved fishing from the dock. Caught a few smaller bass as well 🎣 We cooked breakfast and dinner at the house— which worked out well.

Roomy well-equipped indoors and fantastic lakeside outdoors
We had a great time staying at this property. The kitchen and house were better equipped than any other place I've seen before. The inside looks even better than the pictures! We also appreciated the small half-bathroom in one of the rooms. We loved the kayak and paddleboat, and just wish we'd gone during the summer so we could try out all the other water floaties. The guys in our group had a great time fishing from the dock, and the wide open area meant we could join them and sit at the table doing our own thing. There's also a grill that was easy to use and a nice fire pit to enjoy the night. Lots of space inside and outside, basically. Very minor cons are that if you like decent toilet paper, maybe bring your own. The TV HDMI ports were being fussy (shorting out every minute or so), so we weren't able to use our gaming system and play as a group like we'd planned which was a bummer. The owner made sure to reach out with detailed instructions and checked in with us to make sure we were doing well.

Beautiful location, amazing dock, great water toys. Stayed for 10 days. (long review!)
We stayed for 10 days and overall we enjoyed our time . This property is awesome outside. the stand up paddle boards are NEW, top of the line, and SO much fun, even for beginners. The kayak was fun too. We never tried the pedal boat, which is honestly at the end of its life. There's LOTS of inflatables including a huge one for many people. The dock is huge, lots of covered place to sit, and enjoy lake life. Easy to launch the water toys from the ladder into the water. Nice fire pit. We were disappointed that there was no playground as pictured (and the tree had recently been taken out as well), but all the water toys made up for it. The inside of the house needs work. The sofas are stained and not comfortable. The cleaning was not very good - the floors were still dirty (vacuumed not mopped), there was fingerprints all around all the door knobs and doors. etc. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean and linens/towels were good. The kitchen itself was also clean and very well stocked. Great coffee maker and good oven. Laundry works well, as does the internet (though it's a little spotty out on the dock). The TV works well as is large. Be aware there is NO lake view inside the house - it's blocked by the sunroom which also doesn't take advantage of the view. It's ok, just go down to the dock for the view. Even if it's raining - it' s covered! The lake house is often on the flight path to Charlotte Interational and less often Atlanta, so if you're sensitive to airplane noise, be aware of this. The lake was otherwise VERY quiet in October, no one out on the lake despite perfect weather. Neighbors were very friendly too. THh owner was very responsive. Great communications.

Enjoyable lake vacation
Even during the current pandemic we needed to get away for a change and visit our family. The whole experience was wonderful from the time we booked until we checked out. The property owner communicated the entire time with updates as well as information on the area. We will surely look into making this a yearly trip. Thank you from the Taylor family
