Just we loved this cabin! It was amazing and comfortable. It was also close to shops and restaurants. Just wow! Awesome! We loved this place and enjoyed Noth Carolina -Nuestra estadía en este lugar fue perfecto y acogedor. El lugar estaba muy limpio y hermoso, además de estar cerca de tiendas y restaurantes. Simplemente quedamos encantados, sin duda volveríamos de nuevo. Pd. Únicamente tuvimos inconvenientes con Wifi. Por lo demás todo excelente! Thanks Van Galen Family

A picturesque cabin in the woods
We enjoyed our short stay in this cabin. It was such a beautiful cabin! The porch overlooked a grassy bottom field with a creek running thru that you could hear and where we seen deer come through to the neighboring property. We stayed here for the Nascar race in Charlotte, but wanted to feel like we were home and so we want to thank the Van Galens for opening their cabin up to us to stay in. You have a beautiful place and we highly recommend anyone to stay here.! Sincerely, Sean and Melissa Van Wie

Amazing Getaway
This Property is amazing I went for some peace and quiet time and it was absolutely that and then some. The owners were very hospitable and just genuinely good people who really care about their guests and it shows from the time you enter the property. Cabin amongst the trees is a must have experience.

Cozy Cabin
My wife and I are so grateful to have found the perfect cabin to relax and spend the weekend together. Everything was so clean and thoughtful. We loved being greeted each morning by the cutest dog ever. We booked for a place to stay aftet a trip to Carowinds, and it looks like we'll be planning more trips to Carowinds in the future just to stay again! :)

Great Find !
Glad we found the Cabin in the Woods. We’re coming home from Florida and did not want to stay in a motel. The cabin was very inviting, very clean, and bed was great. Loved the big picture windows to watch the deer. The owners were quick to answer our question. Great place to rest and relax.

Anniversary trip
Relaxing time with beautiful views of the woods. It rained a lot and watching the rain through the picture windows and the screened porch was very pretty. Easy to find, park and close by several things.

A lovely spot
The Cabin Amongst the Trees provides a peaceful respite. It is well-designed and light, with many thoughtful touches throughout: cozy blankets, a unique footrest for the couch, LED reading lamps for the bedroom. Very comfortable.

Cabin amongst the trees is sure to please
The cabin, while small, more than adequately met our needs. Bed was very comfortable, water is nice and hot, bathroom was spacious and the kitchen well appointed. Location is convenient for traveling around Charlotte. Trails right behind the house and the wildlife abounds. Would easily stay here again!

This is a little Haven set among the trees. Beautiful and clean everything is well-appointed. Such hospitality. Loved seeing the leaves change color. Had a very wonderful and comfortable stay.

Great Getaway Cabin
The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with my partner! The hosts did a great job ensuring the property was clean and comfortable and we were even lucky enough to meet one of their dogs! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay close to nature.

Everything as advertised and more
So many great things to say. The property wasn't just clean, it was immaculate. No dead bugs on the screened in porch (I've seen that at other places). There's a fan that made warm Charlotte nights feel very pleasant and lights if needed. The inside is wonderfully intimate, but for the small size, you feel like you're in a castle. Huge windows look out over nature and there's lots to observe. The bed is super comfy, the shower is nice and roomy, and the pictures don't show it (yet) but there is a stove to cook on and plenty of room to manoeuvre. I never felt cramped, and can't imagine feeling cramped with two. Which there were! The best part of listing is Midge! The property comes with a no charge pet companion service. Midge is sweet and loving, and for the low price of a good bellyrub will be your companion all day until called for dinner. If you're looking for a quiet setting that's no more than 15 minutes anything you'd want to get to, this is a great place to stay. Richard and Pamela were wonderful hosts, and very responsive. They make it easy to check in and check out. I don't have a single negative thing to say. 5 stars all the way!!!

I hope all my future experiences with Vrbo are this good.
A clean, quiet and well maintained property. We arrived after dark and the approach and entrance was well lit and felt safe. I can't think of anything that could have made the stay any more enjoyable. Watching the dear come up next to the house that first morning while enjoying a great coffee was amazing. I whole heartily recommend.

Special Place
The cabin in the trees was exactly what we needed to have a very special time with our nearby family. Being able to stay three weeks in such a beautiful and convenient location meant we could concentrate on making memories with grandsons. The hosts, Pamela and Richard were so perfect in their support and kindness. We certainly loved our belly-rub visits from Midge, glimpses of deer, and charming firefly welcomes each evening. We could have lived there forever, a true home away from home.
