Our experience there was a mixed bag.
The good points I can list:
The keypad door lock meant we didn’t have to mess with keys. The A/C and heat worked well. Shower water pressure and temperatures were good. The bed was very comfortable once you managed to climb into it. My wife had to use the steps provided to get into it. The internet worked well as did the TV with streaming apps and cable. Having 2 bathrooms, one up and one down was definitely a plus.
The downsides:
Furniture other than the bed was awful. Extremely uncomfortable couch and one awkward easy chair in the main room. No chairs at all on the 2nd level – a problem with the high bed. Arrangement of the couch in the main room made watching TV difficult.
The kitchen appliances were iffy. The dishwasher upper rack threatened to fall out every time it was pulled out. The dishwasher was so loud, we went upstairs to the TV. The stove has a burner that didn’t work. The microwave worked but was probably the slowest microwave I’ve ever used. Coffee maker and toaster both worked well. Fridge was not fancy but worked well.
The spray for the kitchen sink didn’t work.
The place is advertised as sleeping 4, with two on the sofa bed. Interestingly, there are only two chairs for the dining table.
My impression is more of mix of "charming" with “first off-campus apartment for a college student – and not a very expensive one at that."
The property manager didn't do anything about our reported problems.
