“On first glance, the property looked fine. However, it was dirty and noisy. It’s a second floor unit with another property on the third floor; we could hear people in the upstairs and next door units clear into the middle of the night, and there was tremendous noise every time someone used the stairs. The front door had a sketchy lock, and there was a 1.5” gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. None of us slept well the three nights we were there. The floor was so disgustingly dirty...

The apartment is in the old Picayune building, and there are newspapers more than 100 years old on the walls. There's even a magnifying glass in the unit so you can read the agate and fine print. “We loved the location and the apartment! It was close enough that you were able to walk any where you wanted just about or hop on public transport easily. The parking wasn’t an issue because there was a parking garage directly across the street they provided the information for before hand so you could get that booked! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to NOLA! ”
