“Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away”

“We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at the Modern Victoria. It is located in a great spot, walking distance to cafes, pubs and shops. The home was well-equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Often it is hard to find accommodation suitable for a young family and dog, but this ticked all the boxes.”

“This property is beautifully laid out with bespoke furnishings and a very well equipped kitchen. Lovely balcony setting overlooking rural countryside was very calming. Really felt like we had our own countryside property. Separate toilet to bathroom is a clever setup. Internet and TV would not work. Not essential but they did not work.”

“Very clean and well appointed. Lots of nice touches like flowers and shampoo and conditioner. Milk in fridge on arrival. Nice quiet location and not far to the local pub that served good food at great value. Overall a very pleasant experience”

Basic breakfast supplies were very welcome. The cottage is situated close to local attractions. We were so relaxed we did not want to leave. ”
