“First stay at this hotel and it was really nice. The rooms and hotel generally were clean, and all was in good order. Not the largest rooms but for one it was fine. They do offer off-street parking but tried twice, on check-in and then after dinner and there was no space. There is all day parking about 30-40 metres away so that wasn't the end of the world. “This property far exceeded our expectations. Historic property with plenty to do onsite. Paddle boats on the lake, electric bikes, playground, indoor heated pool, games, vege garden/ fruit trees to help yourself. The apartment we had slept 4 with good kitchen facilities and living space. Huge bedrooms! Little booklet with a short history of the property was a nice touch. “Good location, everything I needed. I stayed in a studio near the lifts and it felt a little bit like living in a fish bowl - open for all to see but once I got over that it was fine. Very good value.”
