The best in Cefalu
It's located right in the heart of the old town, and having a large private rooftop with an amazing view was truly wonderful. The room had everything we needed, and the host was very kind and welcoming, even though we don't speak Italian. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely penthouse apartment in Cefalu
Although a bit challenging to locate by car, this apartment is in a perfect location. Old town is accessible by foot down a short set of stairs. If you enjoy hiking, you can access the beginning of the La Rocca trail almost immediately behind the apartment. The hike is well worth it! There are great views at the summit. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable and Giuseppe and his wife are very kind. The highlight is the large terrace overlooking most of Cefalu. The kitchen is outdoors on the terrace. The bathroom is also on the terrace, outside the bedroom. Parking is not available at the property. However, you can park 10 minutes away by foot in the lot at the train station. The cost is 1 Euro per hour. If you decide to stay at this property, take into consideration that you must climb two flights of stairs to get to the apartment. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this rental property.

Fabulous holiday in beautiful Cefalu
We had such a fantastic holiday in Giuseppe’s apartment in Cefalu. It’s close to all the fabulous restaurants and beach. The pictures really don’t do the terrace justice. So gorgeous watching the sun set over the sea. Giuseppe and his wife were very helpful and generous. We will return with our children.

Great terrace! Location perfect
Wonderful, large rooftop terrace. Very clean and furnished appropriately. Yes there are plenty of stairs which is tricky in the heat but otherwise very centrally located. Kitchen has all the necessities. Overall good value.

Fun and authentic with beautiful views!
We had a great time staying here in Cefalú! Giuseppe and Mima were wonderful hosts and helped us find the location by car. There are beautiful views and sunsets and we had everything we needed. Also a great location walking distance to everything!

Perfect stay in Cefalu!
We loved every moment of our stay here. Perfect location in the centre of Old Town, a few minutes from the train station. The roof terrace had the most beautiful view of the city and sea below. It felt very secluded and peaceful. The bedrooms are large and spotlessly clean. And our hosts were gracious and kind, thank you again for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back.

The View!
Great view that is everything. This was the perfect spot for the middle of our Italy trip where we wanted to relax some. Spent most of the afternoons enjoying the view while reading. Even with the weather a little warm, there was still a nice breeze most of the time so was perfect in the shade. Close to everything in Cefalu. Would definitely go back but would pack a little lighter for all the stairs. Small issue with the number of guests that showed up through the VRBO reservation but was quickly and easily resolved with the owners.

Fabulous peaceful stay
Wonderful location tucked into the rock area so very convenient for the walk up. Was able to unpack the car outside then the hosts kindly showed us a free parking street (might be full in high season so need to book a place somewhere). We did have to drive some very tight streets and corners to get in and out so a smaller car is better (we had a Skoda suv and managed). Get all your shopping ahead of time to unload when you arrive - bring bottled water and toilet rolls (one provided)! The property is quaint and authentic with a stunning terrace so wonderful to hang out anytime of day! Views of the whole area and sunset! The two bedrooms are interconnected and have doors to the terrace- you walk across the terrace to the bathroom and outdoor kitchen- eating on the terrace was such a plus. Enough shade and sun! Note the fridge is in one bedroom with crockery cupboard so if you are two couples plan to get everything out the night before so not to disturb. There was a second fridge in our room which we could have asked to be switched on. Comfy beds and towels and a wonderful welcome gift for my daughter’s birthday from very kind hosts. This is a unique property and special experience. Would love to return.

Perfect Stay
This was an amazing property. Perfect views of the ocean and mountains. If you're looking for a place to relax among perfect scenery this is for you! There are a lot of steps to the building and also to the top floor (where the rental is) The property manager is respectful and everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival. We felt so safe and comfortable!

Fantastic stay with wonderful hosts
We had a wonderful stay with Guiseppe and his lovely wife. The place was exactly what we expected but even better location than I imagined. At the foot of the Rocca and minutes from the Duomo. The hosts had fresh local biscottis for us which were amazing and so thoughtful. Although we spoke very little Italian and they no English, we managed to communicate our needs and questions via google translate. If we are ever in Cefalu again, we would stay here happily.

Unbelievably Beautiful
I thought the photos perhaps were taken from a clever angle but no, the terrace really is huge (about 400 square feet!) with a fantastic al fresco kitchen, table for six, comfy lounge chairs and that million dollar view. Just steps from the Duomo and all the restaurants and shops of the historic town center, and in the other direction just steps from the entrance to the park where well built steps allow a climb to the very top of the old fortress. Incredible! Plan to buy charcuterie and wine and have late lunches "at home", the breeze and views can't be beat! Very gracious hosts, easy check in and check out. A truly magnificent stay.

Great little find
This was a great little find for us. It was a rooftop terrace with connecting bedroom and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. It was located at the bottom of La Rocca. Very close to the hiking trail. Beautiful view of the sea. Nonna and Nonna were very sweet. Greated us with beautiful cookie platter from the pasticeria. No English spoken however google translate helped. The one thing I will say is that there are many stairs to navigate from the street to the apartment. This is fine if you are not two crazy American girls with way too much luggage. We immediately regretted our large suitcases. Of course this regret continued throughout Sicily as you will rarely find elevators anywhere. This apartment gets 5 stars for value, view, hosts and location. However, if you have difficulty climbing stairs this is probably going to be a challenging situation for you. GRAZIE Nonna and Nonna for a wonderful stay in Cefalu!

WHAT A VIEW!
This place is perched above town and at the base of the enormous "rock" mountain that identifies Cefalu. Lovely owners live in an apartment below and are very available. Not luxurious by any means, but you can't beat the view.

Cefalu is our new favorite place in Sicily!!
This quaint fisherman village is a lovely vacation spot. Just small enough to be walkable with a main square, church and beaches. Plenty to see and eat:) Caution lots of stairs in town and heading up to this rooftop property. It was challenging to find but worth the struggle. The host greeted us in the street and gave up his parking space. The two rooms were spacious and cooled by a/c just note the ceilings is A frame and gets low on far side of room. Also there’s a outside kitchen on the rooftop terrace! The single bathroom is across the terrace and without a/c it gets hot! Recommend a fan for bathroom! The view is amazing !! You got to climb many steps to capture that view!

Sunset on the Terrace of your dreams!
If you don't mind climbing some steps, this is the property for you! You will soon realise when you get there that it is worth it! Sitting on the beautiful, spacious, comfortable terrace sipping your appertivo will never disappoint. The hosts were very welcoming and even though we did not speak the same language, it wasn't a problem. The bedrooms are comfortable and Aircon was great, needed in end of July/early August! The area was beautiful, right at the heart of the old town, not far to the beach and everything you need on your doorstop- including the start of the walk up La Rocca- a must for stunning views. We would return to this property, with 3 young kids, in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Cefalu Apartment
A wonderful apartment with incredible views and location. Close to the beating heart of Cefalu, abutting the stunning La Rocca, this property's standout feature is its enormous terrace (featuring an outdoor kitchen) that boasts once-in-a-lifetime views. Despite high temperatures, we were always comfortable on the terrace - there is plenty of shade, sun lounges on which to relax and a huge dining table on which to enjoy home-cooked meals. Our hosts were lovely and helpful (even providing us home made pesto one evening, and wine and snacks upon arrival). Bedrooms are cooled with effective A/C units. We were a family of four (two children 11/8) and the property was perfect for our needs. We'd highly recommend this property for your Cefalu stay.

Living outside on the terrace with an outdoor kitchen and amazing view. Beds comfy with good air conditioning. Lots of steps to get there but we’ll worth it. Friendly and helpful owners.
