Driftwood Getaway Cottage ... Relajación, comodidad y conveniencia.

Hecho a medida en 2014, adyacente al Parque Nacional PEI, tiene capacidad para 6 personas y cuenta con más de 1600 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable con 3 dormitorios, 1. 5 baños y una ducha al aire libre.

Los huéspedes encontrarán una decoración única que incluye una auténtica mochila de pesca de 8 pies que cuelga del techo en el área del desván y trampas de langosta (que fueron utilizadas por los pescadores locales) que se han reutilizado como una rejilla de cocina.
En la espaciosa y luminosa cocina gourmet, los huéspedes encontrarán una gran cantidad de gabinetes de arce personalizados, encimeras de cuarzo, 4 electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, un complemento completo de pequeños electrodomésticos de Kitchen Aid y Cuisinart (que incluyen una máquina de helados y una máquina de espresso), y una amplia selección de macetas Paderno de PEI. Amazing Cottage in Cavendish
My Mom and I came to PEI to see all things Anne of Green Gables, this place did not disappoint! This was the perfect location for all of our adventures. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could want and the welcome treats and wine were appreciated. One note of information if you come towards the end of tourist season, you may not find an open grocery store near by. We arrived on Saturday at about 5:30 PM and not one store was open so plan ahead for food. Charlottetown has a lot of options but it’s about 40 minutes away. We managed just fine though and were able to get a few items in Rustico the next day. I can’t recommend this place enough. The island is magical and Mom and I both agree that we left a little bit of our hearts there.

Fantastic rental property
PEI is such a gem & we loved staying in the comforts of this property. Nothing has been overlooked, great kitchen with everything tool & device you’ll need to feel at home. The beds were comfy & the AC allowed cooler temperatures for sleeping. The towel supply was impressive & we were left with ample paper goods. I highly recommend this spot. The only disappointment relates to the vrbo site’s message service…grr. I suggest that you request direct email of owner once you’ve booked.

A True Getaway
Driftwood Getaway was a truly wonderful place to stay during our visit to PEI. I can't say enough about the cleanliness which made it very easy to settle in and relax. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. And when my daughter cut her foot on a rock at Stanley Bridge, we were pleased to find a First Aid kit. The views of the sunsets were incredible and it was lovely to be able to see the water as well. There isn't much within walking distance so when my niece loaned me her bike, I was thrilled to be able to ride to the Gulf Parkway for a great ride with incredible views and access to quiet beaches. Captain Kidd's was our go to for an ice cream or take out dinner. And the Tourist Mart has a great selection, although pricey. The baked goods were excellent. Next time I go to PEI, I will try to book this place. It was a perfect getaway.

Beautiful home!
We did not want to leave! The home had everything you could possibly want and more. There were gifts for us when we entered. The home was exactly as described- clean, beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed sunsets and water views from the back deck. The stars were amazing. Thank you so much!

Excellent Accommodations!
We loved our stay at your Beautiful Cottage. Very Spacious, Very Clean and in a Great location. The beds are so comfortable it was like a home away from home. Fully stocked with all of the amenities you need and the washer/dryer were a great addition. All in all it was a fantastic place to stay and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot
The owners have supplied everything you need in this beautifully furnished and spotless home. The ocean views were fantastic and the location made it easy to get to other parts of the island by car. We had one small issue which the owners quickly resolved. Would loved to have stayed longer!

Quintessential place to stay In Cavendish
We really enjoyed our stay at Neil’s beautifully situated cottage in Cavendish, The minute you step inside you see that the attention to detail is incredible and the decor is inspired by Prince Edward Island. The cottage is well stocked so that you don’t have to think of anything but relax and enjoy your vacation. The owner has included many nice touches for guests from a welcome gift to extra towels, to shampoo in case you have forgotten your own. The kitchen is our dream kitchen, beautiful designed but also well stocked if you are a gourmet cook with every kitchen appliance for cooking that you can think of. The location of the cottage is right in Cavendish but at the edge of attractions of the main strip so you can go back to quiet of the cottage after enjoying tourist attractions. It is minutes away from the national park, bike trails, hiking, stretches of white sand beaches and red cliffs. The owner has included a national park pass which we made use of nearly every day to truly enjoy the beauty of PEI. If you are a fan of LM Montgomery and Anne of Green Gables then you are steps away from the area where she grew up and inspired her famous books. The owner was very accommodating and responsive which put us at ease and made for an enjoyable stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate booking again when we find ourselves back in PEI because it feels like a home away from home. Thank you.

Great Property
All you could ever ask for in this property. If you have forgotten anything.....they have it. You will see the sun rise sitting on the side deck and sunsets from the back deck. If you enjoy cooking, this is a dream kitchen for you!! I would highly recommend this property.

PERFECT in Every Way...
This place was absolutely amazing. We arrived to thoughtful welcome gifts by the hosts -so kind and unexpected. Saying the kitchen was well-stocked would be an understatement. I packed a lot of things that I did not even need because the hosts have thought of everything here! Everything was so clean and nicely decorated. They spared no expense making this beautiful cottage PERFECT! The location of this cottage was also amazing. Everything around the island was drivable within an hour. We golfed many of the courses and they were all stellar! We will definitely return to PEI and we will definitely be booking this cottage again.

Great week in Cavendish.

Excellent stay in Cavendish
We stayed in this lovely cottage in Cavendish in October 2021. It was beautifully constructed, well equipped, very clean, and well located. The owner was very responsive, and accommodated all of our needs. We would stay there again without any hesitation.

This property had everything you could ask for. The place was spotless., tasteful decorated had every detail for home living included. As well the location has an ocean view and minutes from Cavendish beach. If we return to PEI would 100 percent consider renting this place again

We can't wait to return
My husband, daughter & I arrived at this beautiful home about 4pm on a Thursday evening. We were lucky enough to be able to add on a couple extra days to our week. The house was very easy to find and exactly as pictured. We were so surprised to have a beautiful gift basket waiting for us full of island treats. I wish I had taken a picture, but we tore it apart before I had the chance. The house is very clean and contains everything you could ever need. We ate out most of the time, but the kitchen is fitted with every appliance, pot, pan & dish you would ever need to host an elaborate meal. It is beautifully decorated and feels very homey. One of the nicest surprised was the beds. They were so comfortable. Usually, we can not wait to get home to our own beds, but these were excellent. After days spent outside at the very nearby beaches, we slept soundly. It is in a very central location with lots of excellent restaurants near by. We can not wait to be back to PEI. It really is Our Happy Place.

Great location to enjoy PEI beaches
Location of the house is walking (25mins) from Cavendish amazing beach. Great location for bikes as there is a bike trail starting next to the house to enjoy many beaches. House was very cleaned, very well maintained and full equiped. We stayed there for a full week and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Communication with Neil (the owner) was excellent and everything has been as expected and described. Really nice home and thanks to the owners for having shared with us their place! A must go!
