“This was an an enjoyable experience, particular for a sole traveller. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast (which was very good food) was an enjoyable social experience meeting other guests that you do not tend to get with staying at a larger chain hotel. It was unfortunate while we were there that the lift was out of order, making it difficult for my elderly disabled mother to get to and from our first floor room. Access to a lounge or somewhere to sit in the evenings would have made it perfect.”
