Weekend Get Away
Cute property in a great neighborhood . Two minute path walk to beautiful beach. Fish or just stroll. So nice. Big community pool House had everything. Took our sweet doggie too. We’d rent again !

We were up for the football game and decided we wanted to stay away from the hustle bustle. The house is in a quant, quiet neighborhood. It’s not a far walk to the community beach or pool. I wish we could have stayed longer, we thoroughly enjoyed it! It is truly untouched Florida. The house was spotless and well appointed. There’s just three of us so there was more than enough room.We will definitely be back, thank you for sharing this peaceful retreat ❤️

Great Stay, Lots of Wildlife
Overall, we had a great stay! The place was as described! Tons of room, huge kitchen, lots of TVs. We are incredibly low maintenance and are basically pleased with a clean, warm bed and a place that allows our dog. We were bummed that the dog was not allowed on any of the furniture and spent a lot of the time on the floor/screened in porch with her haha. The host was communicative and responsive. He was prompt to respond with an issue we had with the smoke detector and the pool code. My biggest issue with the location is that I was unprepared for how remote the area is. I was looking for somewhere less traveled and it is definitely that. I do not mean this as a negative to the host or house, simply a warning to someone traveling with small kids. The tall grass trails leading to the beach are teeming with wildlife and we were greeted by a cottonmouth on one of our trips down. Now, I’m from the sticks in Kentucky, so critters do not normally scare me, but I was thankful that the two youngest kids were not with us because they would have definitely been excitedly leading the way and met the snake first. Additionally, this area has black bears and alligators. Pretty awesome, but might be something to consider when traveling with dogs and kids. The beach is great but not necessarily the type for lounging and having kids playing on. A ton of natural vegetation and critters. Again, not a negative overall! Just something to consider when visiting. 😊

Peace and quiet 😊
This property is in a quiet area that is away from the typical beach environment. It’s great for the nature lover that likes being in the trees. The beach is natural with lots of vegetation and wildlife. The pool was great. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need.

Something different
We chose this location because it was the ideal spot to spend time with family away from the hustle and congestion of popular locations. The house had everything we needed: games, internet, fully equipped kitchen, covered porch, access to a pool. The only disappointment was the beach. It was not quite what we expected but it rained most of the time, so the beach was an afterthought. Great for boating not so great for swimming. We appreciated the owner's help and quick responses.

Great time!
This home is in close proximity to pool and more than one beach access. The owner was very easy to communicate with-- even working with us to retrieve a beloved stuffed animal after we had checked out! This is a great family friendly location.

February visit
The house is nice and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed sitting outside next to the fire pit. Everything is as pictured. This is a new neighborhood with a lot of construction. Thus, we felt like we had to be away all day, which was complicated since we had two dogs. The area is pretty rural so it is a drive to the store or for dinner. We went to several nearby state parks and a national forest. One decent golf course is nearby. The beach is au natural with seaweed and coral on the sand. The local seafood was delicious. We actually cut our trip short because we had done everything we wanted to do. Perhaps it would be more fun in the summer but I doubt we will come back to the part of Florida again.

Great Week on the Coast
We've stayed at Summer Camp many times and always cant wait to come back. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed. Everything you could need for a week on the beach in Old Florida. Check in and out was a breeze.

great house for family & pets. plenty of space and well stocked with everything we needed. beach is very natural, so not great for sitting or swimming but perfect for the dogs running around. pool area is very nice too.

An amazing area of Florida and house, fully furnished (moving of furniture not required), full kitchen and well equipped, VERY well maintained and VERY VERY clean; we enjoyed our 1.5 week stay, Michael is a great VRBO host. Wonderful vacation!
We really enjoyed this beach house. The house was clean and well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch in the evenings. Our kids loved the pool. We found a little beach area in Summercamp east that was very quiet and we enjoyed a lot!

Relaxing Getaway
The property was just as shown. Lovely home! Very quiet and peaceful even though there is construction taking place in the community. Short walk to pool and beach, enjoyed both. The house was comfortable with plenty of space. Enjoyed being able to prepare meals, eat outside on screened porch and enjoy family and friends. Read a book, put two puzzles together, played cards and watched a few movies on Netflix. Owner, Mike, was very approachable and accommodating. Look forward to a return visit! Thank you!

Great Place!
This was our second visit to Summer Camp. The area and beaches are beautiful. Yes, the beach is "organic;" it's where the beach meets the forest. Nowhere, however, in Florida, during spring break season, can you walk a beach and never see another person! This property was perfect for our party of six. There's plenty of space inside and outside to sprawl out. We enjoyed dinner every night on the screen porch.It was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The pool, as like the beach, was quiet and serene every day. We like to explore new areas in the south for our spring break but the "Forgotten Coast" is not being forgotten by us; it's become our favorite.
