“Great location to most attractions, shopping, and the golf course in St Andrew’s. Convenient walk one block over to the main shopping street which has lots of shops and places to eat. There is no parking onsite but the we found parking a block away. Breakfast in the morning was good and staff were friendly. ”

“Loved staying at this private castle, even if it was the original maids quarters! Spacious room with french doors opening onto the lawn garden and creek below. Bathroom was fine and water on a timer but always hot. It is outside of St Andrews but worth it for the experience and peaceful ambience. Continental breakfast was in our mini fridge and replenished daily so we could eat at our leisure. No microwave which would have been an advantage for quick evening meals. “Very accommodating owners; allowed me to leave my car all the next day after check-out very early in the morning. Not far from town centre. Off-street parking felt quiet/safe for car & bike. “Staying at Cambo is an unforgettable experience. When everyone else goes home, you get to stay and wander the beautiful grounds and spend the night in one of the historic rooms. The service is wonderful, the breakfast is huge and delicious (get the porridge!), and the bed was comfortable.
