“We enjoyed our stay! Discovered we had lots to learn about how things work in the UK, and Raymond was great to respond to every question. We were a 3-generation family group of 7. The stairs were a bit challenging for me (the matriarch, with balance problems), and having 1 bathroom worked for the short stay that we had but might be challenging for a longer stay with this many guests. Hospitality was great! Raymond & Brenda had a welcome sign with all our family names on it; took a picture of it....

“Family of 4, girls enjoyed the spa whilst the boys went swimming. Could do with a few more options but I believe there's plans to extend the spa area in the near future. Would recommend for a short break. Adjoining tea room serves great food during the day but no dinner service, with very nice service - highly recommended. ”

Even the poor weather did not take away from a great couple of days in a prime spot with excellent accommodation. 5 star treatment and everything you could think would be required was taken into account by the hosts. “We had a lovely family weekend in Forestside House. It was very clean and well located. It sleeps 16 but the dining and seating accommodation does not cater for 16. We were 10 and could eat together but not sit and relax together. The dining table and a couple of chairs were not very stable. One of the oven doors was broken and a couple of cooker rings were not working. This made cooking for a large number challenging. We are unlikely to stay here again.”

“Absolutely loved this pod. Stayed as family 2 ad and 2 ch. Place was soo clean on arrival and soo well layed out. Bathroom was far bigger than you would think with lovely white towels and complimentary toiletries. Bunk beds were fab, kids loved them and plenty of room in the bottom one for a tall 11 yo. The murphy bed was amazing , it just appears from the wall and is most definitely one of the comfiest beds i have slept in. Surrounded by fields with cows for neighbours and alpacas and chicken's...

“This is a perfect holiday apartment for two. We were able to have breakfast with a view of the sea and Rathlin Island. Catherine had been a fantastic host and provided a perfectly equipped, clean apartment in walking distance from Ballycastle (beach, port & center).
