Estamos ofreciendo este galardonado hotel de 5 estrellas Sherwood para alquilar en el sitio de South Lakeland Leisure Village. El albergue es un gran lugar para pasar unas vacaciones en familia o un momento de paz y tranquilidad, también puede disfrutar de las instalaciones del sitio, que incluyen un galardonado restaurante y bar, así como la piscina y el gimnasio.
El albergue solo se ha alquilado desde mayo de 2016, pero ya ha recibido críticas muy loables y todos nuestros huéspedes han disfrutado de su estadía. Tenemos internet instalado en el albergue, gratis para nuestros huéspedes. Consideraremos a los huéspedes que traigan a sus perros, pero requerimos detalles de las mascotas antes de aceptar que vengan. Los huéspedes anteriores que han traído a sus mascotas han encontrado que la gran área de terraza es un gran beneficio.
Este lodge tiene una habitación doble con baño privado y una segunda habitación con dos camas individuales, también se proporciona un baño separado, tenga en cuenta que no se proporcionan toallas y deberá traer las suyas. Hay una cocina de galera bien equipada que conduce al comedor y luego al salón. Desde el salón, las puertas dobles del patio conducen a la amplia área de terraza que cuenta con muebles exteriores y una puerta que se puede cerrar por seguridad. El albergue se encuentra en South Lakeland Leisure Village, que ofrece un área de recepción, un bar con un restaurante galardonado, todo a buenos precios. Excellent in every way.
Very clean and comfortable. Received a very warm welcome from Jill and Jim. Used as a base for a cycling exploration of the area. Lots of varied routes both on the coast and inland. A multitude of quite country lanes and peaceful villages. Ventured as far as Grizedale and Windermere. Lots of advice and information from the owners who are cyclists too. I did 200 miles in 5 days and only scratched the surface of possibilities. This is top notch accommodation and I will be back again for more.

Schöne Lodge für eine 4 köpfige Familie
Die Übergabe von Julie war sehr verlässlich und humorvoll. Die Lodge ist tadellos in Schuss. Wir empfanden ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis. Im Schwimmbad (extra Kosten von ca. 25 Pfund pro Tag und Familie) konnten wir gut entspannen. Die Gegend mit dem Nationalpark Lake District und Lancaster ist eine Reise wert. Wir haben uns in der gepflegten Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lovely stay.
Lovely experience from start to finish. Julie and Jim were very welcoming on arrival. The lodge is well taken care of and has everything you need for a stay away from home. It’s a great base to relax and/or explore.

Just what we both needed. The wooden veranda caught the sun perfectly all day, Retiring in the evening to a cosy clean interior. Close to Morecambe and Kendal. With Carnforth a 10 minute drive for your necessities shopping. The owners were friendly, it was hard to stop chatting and depart. All in all a delightful experience.

SUPERB LODGE & LOCATION
The property was exactly as described with the quality of furnishings, fixtures and fittings all to an extremely high standard. The location and situation of the lodge allows you to make the most of any sunshine at all times of the day and the quiet well maintained complex is a pleasure to visit. Julie & Jim were excellent hosts and made sure we were soon settled into the lodge with the minimum of fuss. Nothing was to much trouble and it was a pleasure to meet them. The complex is located within easy reach of public transport allowing the car to be "left at home" if need be. Would certainly visit the accommodation again and can certainly understand why it is so popular. A big thanks to Julie & Jim.

Excellent stay
We had such a wonderful week and didn't want to leave! Julie and Jim are lovely people, they're great hosts and gave us a very warm welcome. The lodge itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean and you can tell that Julie and Jim take pride in it, everything is thought of and it feels very comfortable and homely. The decking in the sunshine is lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed a glass of wine and a book or a board game in the evening. Wifi is included which was great and an ensuite plus another bathroom with a bath was luxury! It's the perfect location to explore the Lakes or the Yorkshire Dales, we even drove up to Carlisle and then Scotland very easily for a day. The bar and restaurant on site is nice, although it's best to book if you'd like to eat. We didn’t get the time unfortunately to use the pool, but it looked good. Thank you both so much for a lovely week, we had a great time and would love to return again.

Excellent!!!
Julie and Jim arranged to meet us on arrival and gave us a tour of the property and explained how things worked . The welcome was warm and Julie and Jim were most accommodating with our questions . The lodge itself was clean and tidy and I could not fault it at all . The wifi was good, we had the tv and all the appliances worked well. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean . On-site facilities were good, bar and restaurant were excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend this property and will stay again in the future .

The Lodge was more that we expected and it was well equipped, the weather wasn't great but we were so happy to chill in the lodge. The location is ideal as it was so quiet and peaceful, we will be back. Jim & Julie were amazing and made us feel so welcome, 5 star⭐ host's.

Fabulous 2 bedroom accommodation in the Lake District.
Had a fabulous week in the South Lake Accommodation. Spotlessly clean & comfortable bed & seating in lounge. Good water pressure in showers. 2 bathrooms, 1 en-suite. Parking for 2 cars. Hosts were perfect, really helpful & easy to communicate with. Thoroughly recommend staying here if you're visiting the Lake District.

Fantastic lodge, great location.
We were greeted with a warm welcome by Julie and Jim who showed us around their lovely lodge. The lodge is perfect for a family of 4 with everything you could possibly need. It was clean and spacious and clearly cared for by Julie and Jim. It's in a great location and the park has leisure facilities and a pub. We loved it so much we have already planned our return visit. Thank you to Julie and Jim for making us feel so welcome.

A short break for the golden girls.
The property in general was ideal for our trip convenient for the lakes and Morcambe bay. Catch the sunset it was beautiful. The only fault for me was the en-suite door should be a slider as it will not open fully and as I’m a larger lady I did find it difficult. The whole property was exceptionally clean . We were a little worried as we had been shielders.. The site needs more exit markers I think it took 20 min to find our way out the first time. We went back and made our own map just left and right. I would certainly stay again.

Overall just 'OK'
The booking and arrival process was straightforward. We were met by the owners who were very pleasant and accommodating. They showed us the lodge, provided all the required information and left us the key. The lodge itself is suitable for 2 small adults and 2 children. The bedrooms are very much on the small side. You cannot even fully open the door to the small ensuite shower room, because of the bed! The bed was too short for me (I'm 6' tall). One of our teenagers had to sleep in the living room, as the twin room is not big enough for 2 teenagers. The only views you get from this lodge is of other lodges! There is 24 hours traffic noise from the nearby M6. There are leisure facilities on site (pool and gym), but they are not included and are not cheap for what they offer (£10 per person per day). There are lots of places to explore around the area. We will not be returning to this accommodation.

Lovely Lake Lodge

Relaxing and comfortable
After 5 months of being in isolation, working from home, and staring at the same 4 walls, I was so excited at the thought of a few nights away. Jim and Julie made us feel extremely welcome to their lovely lodge. They are obviously very proud of this property... and so they should be! Lots of care and consideration has been taken by the owners to make things as safe as possible during the current climate of Covid 19, however the accommodation is still well equipped and you'll find everything you need in the kitchen, and the beds are super comfortable. Great, quiet location, a perfect base to lots of places. Looking forward to visiting here again, hopefully soon ;)

EXCELLENT LODGE, EXCELLENT HOSTS
Julie and Jim were super hosts. They tried to accommodate every request. The lodge is well cared for and was cleaned very well. I am very fussy. They outlined their cleaning regime as I was concerned about taking my elderly mother with us. My 9 year old had a great time. Communication was quick and comprehensive. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay. We will definately be booking again. A big thank you to them both!!!

Amazing little break away
We have had a lovely time. Lodge is great, spotlessly clean and great efforts given the current situation. Was really put at ease when we arrived. Owners were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Met on arrival, gave a tour and explained the extra measures due to covid. Great location and the site is nice.
