Great location. House has a very nice layout. The backyard was small but serene. The bed was comfortable. Very clean. Furniture comfortable. If another trip to Carlsbad is in our future this is where we will stay!

House Near Carlsbad Caverns
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house in Carlsbad with the cozy grassy backyard and deck with ceiling fans. The house is in a quiet newer neighborhood, close to quaint older neighborhoods with large yards and farm animals and an easy drive into town and nearby highway. The house was well lit and comfortable with soft bedding/towels and great pots/pans, dishes, and microwavable containers and very clean but could have used reading lamps in the living room, more personalized and colorful art/decor, and some niceties like napkins/facial tissue, luggage racks, and a cheese grater. The master bath's shower wqs amazing, but we would have appreciated a grab bar for the bathroom. We didn't need heat or a/c during our stay. Dish TV worked great. The laundry center was very appreciated (including basket), as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. We would have appreciated a chance to recycle, with the housekeeper bringing the recycling into town for guests. We recommend that the owner ceases using the plug-in air freshener in the home as the fragrance is overpowering for those sensitive to scents. The property was a short drive away from Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Park in Texas. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend this house in Carlsbad to all.

Everything was great!! The property was spotless and as advertised, the location was close enough to town and the drive to the caverns was an easy one. Highly recommend this property if you are staying in Carlsbad, also the garage access was a great plus!

Our family stayed here while visiting Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park—great place to stay! Very clean, nice neighborhood, convenient location, and lots of space to spread out. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home!
We loved the week we spent at your house! The house was very fresh and clean. It was super comfortable. The host provided wonderful towels, clean beds, everything we needed for the kitchen, and even a few basic food staples like salt and pepper. Surprising to us, there was a bed in the fourth bedroom, too. Plenty of room for everyone! Also, the neighborhood was lovely--quiet and peaceful.

Quiet and convenient
Nice quiet neighborhood and very clean and modern house. The kitchen has everything needed to fix your meals. Bathrooms and bedrooms are large and clean. Landlord is easy to connect with if any issues arise. Highly recommended for a stay in Carlsbad.

Great Base Location for Exploring Carlsbad Caverns & Guadalupe Mountains National Parks
We stayed at the "Carlsbad Retreat" 3 nights while exploring the nearby National Parks. The house was conveniently located in a clean, quiet, relatively new residential neighborhood. The house itself was meticulously maintained and extremely well stocked with all the conveniences of home. Highly recommended!

Open and comfy
I love the openness of this house—the way the kitchen is open to the living room. We ate a few meals at the island while watching Christmas movies. The sectional sofa was super comfortable. The master suite was great, though the shower was a bit small. We enjoyed the firepit on the back patio. It was fully stocked with toiletries, kitchen necessities and kitchen tools—more than most Homes we’ve stayed in. And for us, the location was great—we drove to Carlsbad National Park a couple days; drove to Guadalupe Mountains National Park one day; and drove to Roswell for a day. Very happy with our stay.

The place was really clean and comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchen because we like to cook. The Caverns were amazing, definitely recommend people checking them out! The river running through Carlsbad was really beautiful as well and we enjoyed breakfast on Sunday at the Trinity hotel. Fun trip!

We really enjoyed this house. It was clean and very well equipped. Kitchen had everything we could need for cooking including some basic spices etc. It was close to town and in a quiet neighborhood. We went to Carlsbad National Park and Guadalupe National Park while we were there and it was not too bad of a drive. We would definitely stay here again!
