Water all around
Home beautiful and surrounded by beauty of bay & birds! When tide came in, it felt like we were on a boat. Very spacious living room and kitchen. Bed comfortable! It is tucked away in quiet area and need to drive everwhere which was fine for us👍

Very satisfied
This was my first time using VRBO and I am very pleased with my stay. The house looks exactly like the pictures but only better! Roomy, spotless, cozy and fully stocked with everything you need, only had to bring beach towels. It was a 25 minutes drive to Avalon, cape May & wildwood so we were able to take day trips to each. The house is on the bay which is a beautiful view, I personally would not go in that water but I did see people swimming from a nearby home. You honestly could not ask for a more perfect view. Yes the house is a little out of the way, but for a short drive, you get this beautiful house. Well worth it. I strongly recommend. My only issue was that right after I made the booking I sent several emails asking for info and got no response. But once you make final payment you are given a direct contact who responds immediately. Which is good to know

Overall very quiet, with a great location
The house is in a quiet location with great views of the water and sunset. It is close to both Cape May and Wildwood. When the tide is high and rough at night, you can feel the water rocking the house, and the parking across the street floods. This would have been a nice detail to know in the listing or check-in information. Also, the lock to the door gets bleached in the morning sun, so it can be hard to put the passcode in. It would also have been nice to have more than one bath towel per person, or at least a couple of extras lying around for incidentals. I would have brought a few of my own if I knew this would be the case. Overall it's a very nice and updated rental, but personally, I would not rent again as the rough water made me pretty uneasy.

Great Place!
Great location, right on the water. The kids loved walking the beach. I didnt realize the upper half of the home was another rental unit (there is a door in the hallway of the 2nd floor that enters that unit) The house was clean and stocked with what we needed. I wish I would have brought my own pillow, the ones at the house were not comfortable. Bring your own beach towels and toys. We enjoyed our stay!!

Disappointed
View was priceless. Address was not correct. Went to wrong property and had to contact manager to get correct address that was no where near the listed address. Lost 15 to 30 minutes. Heard noise above us and discovered the owner was living on the floor above where we slept. This was NOT disclosed when the property was booked. We were told they would be leaving soon and that wasn’t correct. They were there all night when we checked in and left the following day. The deck railing was dangerously loose and had to be avoided. Tried to open dining room curtains and rod came apart because one of the curtain brackets was missing. Liquid soap in was watered down.

Incredible stay
Everything about the property was excellent. The location, the sunsets, how close to Cape May and Wildwood for those experiences as well. I would like to give more than five stars. House was clean amenities were perfect. Don’t pass this up.

Relaxing Get Away
If you want to relax at the beach, this bayside house is for you. The VRBO pictures do not lie. The house, which is situated on the edge of the bay, is tastefully decorated and has an amazing balcony where we enjoyed our breakfasts as we listened to the rhythm of the water and watched the egrets, falcons, seagulls, and on one occasion a bald eagle. The house is off the beaten path so if you want a place you can walk to a restaurant or a store, this is not for you. The “guest contact“ was very responsive to any issues. I would rent again.

Family vacation
We mostly enjoyed our stay at the place. House was mostly clean and well equipped. Most disappointing part of the stay was that we had to bring sheets, towels and blankets with us. All the places we have rented in the past have always provided us with these items. I hope the owners would make some changes in the policy. Thanks.

Place is very nice
Amazing view, right on the water. House is very nice but non of the bathrooms or kitchen had trash bags. Maybe just housecleaner did not finish her/his job. In general, everything was great.

Peaceful home on Delaware Bay
My family stayed in this home for long weekend. We were looking for a quiet peaceful place with easy access to restaurants in Cape May. This home is all of that and more. We had to bring our own linens, as most people do there, but everything else you need is available. We would love to go back again.

Spent 1-week at this property. 20 minutes from tourist area of Cape May but worth the drive.
Quiet! Peaceful! Great layout. Comfortable. It was easy to get to the beach, tourist area of Cape May, wineries, and ferry to Delaware. Westwood was basically 20 minutes east of the property (not our interest but ok).

Beautiful space but some quirks
The view from the main space and deck is lovely whether tide is up or down.That was the highlight of the stay. Wind usually keeps the brackish smell down at low tide. We enjoyed taking our kayaks out from the side of the house-the water is calmer than it looks and makes for a lovely trip along the marshes. The downsides were the following. Note that we have told the realtor all this and I’m hopeful future tenants will have a better time of it!There were no mattress pads just plastic. Our sheets slid off the plastic covers and it did not make for good sleeping. We’ve never had a rental that didn’t have mattress pads so we didn’t think to bring them. Bring bathmats as well. The front loading washing machine was closed and horribly moldy and had difficulty spinning a normal load. The repair man said it was old. We just brought our laundry home. The cooking space was lovely but ill-equipped. The fridge’s ice and water dispenser was broken so we needed to buy our water. Usually there is a Brita supplied when the water is brackish but no such luck. There were only two small frying pans and pots, so cooking for seven was a challenge. One cutting board, one dish towel, limited utensils, two small serving bowls! We like to cook and eat in so we had to improvise. No dressers in the bedrooms. Living room chairs with no coffee table. I found LEGOs, wrappers and pills under furniture. Broken duct taped curtain rod and broken rung on the bunk beds. The first floor shower floor tiles are breaking. Water pressure, however, is good. The grill is, basically a no-go. You have to bring your own gas and its tiny. They say wind makes it dangerous so it’s discouraged. If you want games or puzzles, bring your own. I bought a butter dish, toothbrush holder, cutting board, some glasses at a nearby dollar tree. We are landlords so we are very sensitive to things being right. We also know that tenants are bad about reporting stuff. Personally, I would have been grateful for beach tags as we have had them in our previous stay at Cape May. It’s a small cost to the landlord but a big cumulative savings and convenience for the tenants. We would have happily paid a deposit for potential loss. The Cape May beaches are so much better than places like Wildwood. We enjoyed our stay. The view and common space is really open with a great view. It was not, however, without its frustrations and disappointments. Luckily these are things that can be fixed for future guests.

This house is perfect for 6-8 people!
This location is amazing! The sunsets are gorgeous. The house is spacious and comfortable in every way. To be honest , the beach is not really useable, but the opportunity to witness the tides, the water creatures and the ever changing landscape is a great experience!!!

Relaxing waterside stay
Five senior citizens and long time friends reunited here for spring bird watching. We were thrilled to have great weather and a beautiful large space to gather in. The home is simply and beautifully decorated. The beds are great and the house is very clean and comfortable. Property managers were very attentive and kind and we would LOVE to come back here.

location location location!
Lovely location with privacy we wanted. Cleanliness was an issue. We had to clean kitchen,refrigerator and windows so we could see out at the gorgeous view. No Grill as promised. and paperwork stating such, was not given. Other than that Management team, from realty agency were very nice. Once there, good communication.Outside had broken lounge chair and not recently cleaned. Bedrooms etc were clean.

80th Birthday celebration
The view was awesome. The house was very comfortable. We had what we needed to cook and entertain our family. The neighbors were friendly. The home was great for what we needed with our elderly parents. The living area and a bedroom on the first floor. Travel to Cape May area was easy. The property manager communicated and followed up with us. Would recommend this home for a relaxing vacation.
