Great property, if no communication with owners needed
The property is amazing. It is a beautiful, spacious house, amazing location and all the additional items provided are top class. We did not miss anything.
The one star that was deducted is for bad communication:
- We find out that the pool heater we paid for was broken after we did troubleshooting for a day. We finally reached out on Sunday ourselves and were asked to reach out to the other owner. They knew it was broken since Thursday and did not say anything.
- Pointing out that this was bad communication and not even receiving an apology.
- Me asking them to proactively communicate on the exchange of the heater and offering to support and then learning about it being fixed a day after it had already happened also understanding that somebody entered the property without prior notice.
- Finding out in the agreement, which was sent late, that pool heating could have only been purchased for some of the stay, after having asked about that and it was said that it would not be possible and therefore purchasing it for the entire stay.
- Refunding 2 days worth of pool heating (it was still cold in the main pool on Tuesday (day 4), due to late communication we had planned to be away all Wednesday, so actively being able to use the pool Wendesday evening, Thursday, and Friday morning (1.5 days).
- Multiple attempts of trying to get some understanding of the issue were not fruitful.
