“Wonderful stay in this beautiful historic property. Lynn greeted us at check in and gave us the full run down of the property and set the tone for a great long weekend away. Reliable wifi and a TV with all the apps if you're looking to stay connected and plenty of opportunities to disconnect with trails starting right out the front door, a fire pit, and books and games to take advantage of. Close to so many activities in the area but far enough away to enjoy total solitude as well.”

“We had a great time staying here with all of the spa amenities. Massage chair is very nice, hot tub, cold plunge and sauna were a great. King bed was comfy and shower was very nice. Heated bathroom floor is awesome. Host was wonderful and accommodating. Typically we look for more private stays but this was definitely worth the change up. ”

“The home was clean and very well maintained. It was decorated for the season and all the little touches were so thoughtful. The wood work was amazing. We loved that the drawers etc were labeled to easily find items. The hosts were great and had all amenities available. The view was great. Some in our party used the canoe for early morning paddles around long pond. We highly recommend the home and the hosts. We will definitely be back. We give it a 12 out of 10 rating (12/10). ”

“The main reason we selected this property was the lake. Thats the cover picture for this place and a lot of photos touch on it. Its even called the lakefornt cottage, i believe. That is the only reason we selected this place. Much to our dismay, when we arrived inthe lake. We are from Texas so if this happens every winter, we have no idea. “We went in November for a small family retreat and did expect to nor did we swim or kayak. But being on the lake, sitting on the dock and small beach was a magical way to see so many many stars in the sky. It was steps to walk into Pawtuckaway park and go in a hike. We made it to the fire tower!”

“Our visit was short but absolutely wonderful. Our host had thought of everything - coffee, tea, pancake mix, eggs, and a ton of other goodies that made us feel absolutely spoiled. We spent every moment possible enjoying the porch and overlooking the river. Bedding, furniture, and amenities were all incredible. “The lake is right outside the door, and the view from the living room is just beautiful! We were in the area for work and didn't have much time to enjoy it, but there is a gorgeous gazebo on the side and a fire pit on the patio out back - both looking directly our onto the lake. One small downside, the bedroom is quite small - but we did enjoy the view of the sunrise on the lake right from the bed..”
