“Lovely location. We didn't get there early enough to really enjoy the area and had to leave early the next day, but it would be a great summer spot. Just be aware that there isn't a bathroom attached to the units -it is a separate building, so not ideal in winter while it's raining. This may have been in the ad, but I hadn't noticed it.”

“An ideal location for a quiet getaway. Perfectly clean and well looked after. Well equipped with beautiful views I cannot recommend this home and location enough. Just a simple 80 minute ride from Auckland; it's easy to get to and remote enough to feel like you are away from the rush of everyday life. Matakanna, the closest village is about a 10 minute drive with some good local amenities. The property owner was a delight to work with and were flexible when I wanted to check-in early. Overall...
