“I had a wonderful week at Farpoint Cabin which is down a lane and then right on the edge of beautiful Tilden Pond. It's about an 8 minute drive to Belfast and a little longer to Camden and Rockport. The cabin is rustic, but comfortable, with a good bed and plenty of hot water. It is small but perfect for one person(me!) and would be fine for 2. “Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets.”

We only stayed 3 nights as we were traveling to different areas, but did not want to leave here. The porch was a favorite spot, especially in the rain. “My family had a great time at the beautiful lakeside cottage. We have spent many family vacations in ME. This was one of the best. It's a great spot for multi generation family gatherings. The location was perfect. The lake is beautiful and totally serene. All the lake amenities (tubes, kayaks, float) were a huge plus. Plus the lawn, volleyball net and Zipline were perfect for extra fun. Our kids had a blast each day. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather during our week long vacation...
