Sunrises!
The house is lovely, great location and situation. The shore just below the house is rocky and charming, but requires caution descending to it (in the winter anyway). Sunrise over the south end of Monroe Island is just gorgeous. Views from every room. The kitchen is great, and the most generously supplied with cookware and dishes that I've ever seen in a rental. Super.

Peaceful retreat
This Owls Head home was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay. It was also conveniently located to other central coast towns, but secluded enough to be completely peaceful. I would highly recommend it for your stay!

Quick November Getaway
Lovely place, as advertised. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fabulous view. Would be a GREAT set up for a family with kids, as there is a basement level with bunk beds, a queen or full size bed, a full size bathroom, and a foosball table / game room! Really cool! For us adults, we stayed on the Main floor the entire time. Lots and lots of windows that can be opened to let fresh air through (but permit great views across the water to faraway islands!). Special shout out to the owner and caretaker. I accidentally booked wrong dates (my goof) and they were both very helpful to me when I needed to make last-minute, late afternoon modifications. I really appreciated their coordinated effort! Would definitely stay here again. Good proximity (ie, less than 30 min drive) to other communities for exploring.

Scenic, Serene & Simply Outstanding!
We really enjoyed our 5 nite stay in this beautiful waterfront home overlooking Monroe Island and beyond. The highlight of this home is the stunning view from every room, with even a glimpse of the Owl Head Light - look thru the sliding door & across the harbor. The home has been nicely updated with hardwood floors throughout and is very comfortably furnished, well equipped and maintained. We look forward to (many) return visits! Note for Verizon wireless users - reception in this area of Owls Head is very limited for calls, but we really enjoyed being out of touch for a few days! The home's wifi was great and kept us connected for biz.

Beautiful waterfront home
Our extended family stayed for one week at this beautiful waterfront home on Owl's head. We loved the set up of the house with the primary bedroom on one level and the other bedrooms on another. Every room had gorgeous views of the water. There was plenty of space to spread out with a living room upstairs & family room downstairs. We especially loved the nearby Holiday & Crocketts beach. We'd love to return again.

Beautiful and Peaceful
We had a wonderful stay at this place. The house is spacious and well-furnished. It's clean, well maintained and the beds are comfortable. The scenery is beautiful and my son was fascinated with the boats going in and out of the harbor. The hosts responded quickly to the few inquiries we had. This place would be great during any season! The one downside was that the fireplace was not working and there is no firepit outside.

Thanksgiving in Maine
We spent our family Thanksgiving here and it was great. The house is spotless and welcoming. The views over the water are perfect to wake up to. My only comment is that the fireplace was out of commission so if you’re renting in cold weather, you might want to know this. Other than that, the house is absolutely wonderful.

This property was beautiful. Very clean and spacious. Provided binoculars were a nice touch. It was also very nice to have two bedrooms with bathrooms which gave both couples their own space. Half bath was also very convenient. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped. It would have been nice if the trees were trimmed in order to get a better view of the water and lobster boats. Would highly recommend.

Memorial Day Week 2023
The home is large and beautiful, well maintained on a great quiet ocean front property. Lobster boats cruise by often and sail boat use the nearby harbor. Great food and shopping close by as well as many nice hiking trails. We had a very enjoyable time.

Midcoast beauty and peace
Absolutely loved staying here. The house is just the right size and well equipped. Clean as a pin. Comfortable beds, linens and sofas. View stunning. Had a nor'easter our last day, popped the car in the garage and lite the fire. Enjoyed watching the wild water while being totally snug.

Perfect Thanksgiving family getaway
The view is spectacular, the location is quiet and beautiful with plenty of places to walk our dog and visit the beautiful lighthouse. Excellent restaurants very close by, shopping, and visiting Camden. Found the house to be comfortable and spacious with beautiful furnishings. The view from the bedroom, dining room, kitchen, living room, sitting area was spectacular! Communication with the manager was super easy, and the house had everything we needed, Including games and puzzles. Would love to visit again in other seasons.

Beautiful property with amazing views right on the water House was lovely and beautifully decorated Whether you like to visit the rocky shore or just sit and gaze on the water, this location had much to offer. Time can be spent enjoying wildlife or watching the local lobster boats Host was quick to respond and great to speak with The town is laid back and every enjoyable having a locals atmosphere Location is within driving distance to many area parks, restaurants and activities

Breathtaking views and a welcoming home
The most breathtaking views upon entering the home! Walls of windows in every room on the first floor! We were beyond excited to find this property exactly as the photos looked. If you need a relaxing and quiet getaway, this is for you! It just feels like home. We woke to beautiful sunrises and gorgeous views from every room. There are so many boats and birds to see and listening to the waves was so soothing. The house has everything you need with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. The decor is very tasteful with beautiful local art and comfortable furniture. The sitting area off the kitchen was our favorite morning spot to sit and have coffee and watch the beautiful landscape come to life. Owls Head is so conveniently located to Rockland and Camden. We had lots to do and see. The owner and property manager were quick to reach out with instructions and made us feel welcomed. We highly recommend this property and will definitely return next trip to Maine!
