The perfect spot for two couples. Plenty of communal space but privacy too. Well appointed kitchen with plenty of dishes and silver so we didnt have to keep running the disheasher after each meal. The beds are superb! Would definitely recommend this spot.

The house was clean and comfortable to stay in with all the amenities of home. The driveway was very challenging to park our truck. It was fun to see the turkeys and the deer that greeted us in the morning and evenings.

Stunning property

Lovely, relaxing stay enjoyed with friends. Location is ideal, close to Moonstone Beach and Fiscalini trails. Great walking neighborhood with a trailhead just minutes away. We even spotted many wild turkeys! The house is beautifully appointed with all the amenities we needed. Definitely will return.

Great location,Great House

We very much enjoyed our stay. House was clean updated and has great amenities! Perfect for 2 couples. Beds are comfy each bedroom has their own bathroom. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Only think missing is a BBQ. But we cook our steaks on the stovetop.TV is great, refrigerator with an ice-maker is nice touch! Would highly recommend this house.

This place was amazing. Me and my husband enjoyed our time there. Loved the views and the kitchen was great. Husband made us breakfast. And the bed was comfy cozy. This was a great place to unwind and relax. Definitely we will be coming back.

Moonglow Cottage

Moonglow Cottage was exceptional! It was very cozy and comfortable. Great location within 5 minute walking distance of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. There were wild turkeys and deer roaming around the neighborhood. Enjoyable experience overall!

Quiet and serene property

The neighborhood was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. House is small, and kitchen was a little funky, but had places to sit quietly out on a small balcony and enjoy the wildlife in the early mornings and late afternoon. Parking was a little tricky and the streets were tight. To get to town of Cambria you definitely should drive since you need to cross 1, and moonstone beach is a hilly walk. But the property was nice, clean and quiet. Great place to stay and relax.

Great Experience in a beautiful home

Our son got married in Cambria over the weekend and we had East Coast relatives extend their stay for a few days of fun on the Central Coast. My wife and I along with my other son and his girlfriend stayed in the house while my sisters and their husbands rented another home in the neighborhood. While both houses were lovely we all agreed that the Moonstone Cottage was the best experience. Pictures in listing were accurate, lots of extra touches and fully equipped kitchen. Very organized and detailed book of instructions and recommendations was helpful for us. Only minor quibble was a dresser used as a side table next to the bed was higher than the bed and a hazard for hitting your head or elbow getting up at night, but I understand the desire to maximize storage options. We plan to come back to Cambria again and will definitely stay here again.

we really enjoyed our stay here. however, we were a little surprised at the access to get to living level. the stairs and walkway up to the main level were a challenge for senior renters. once inside it was great.

Beautiful house in a stunning area

So glad we discovered Cambria and this house! The house was spotlessly clean, well stocked, the decor was warm and inviting. The beach, adjacent parks, and a nature preserve are all within a short walk. Cambria is a funky little town - not overly developed, no fast food restaurants, which, for us, is perfect. My only regret is we were only able to stay two nights. Definitely have to go back!

Great Home In Wonderful Location

My husband and I had a great week stay here (our second visit to this home)! This home is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and a great location close to pretty much everything you could need- the beach, nature walks, restaurants, shopping in town, grocery store, etc. The outdoor area is peaceful with a fire pit, landscaping/trees, and we watched many deer come up through the neighborhood in the evenings. Kathy was communicative during booking and also with instructions for accessing the home. We had no issues while there. Overall, a wonderful home to stay in while visiting Cambria!

The description for this property should be called moon afterglow

As a longtime visitor to the beautiful little town of Cambria, this is one of the finest and beautifully decorated properties i’ve had the pleasure of staying. The peace and tranquility of the outdoor balcony/sitting area is unmatched and I could’ve stayed out there all day and night. Check in was extremely easy as was communication with property owner/manager and I would Love to return someday. Thank you for making your beautiful property so inviting and welcoming.

The house is amazing! Location is close to everything, trails, beach, restaurants, attractions and shopping. Super quiet and equipped with anything we need. The views from the house are spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home and place to visit.

Beautiful and every necessity met

We love Cambria , but have only stayed in a bed and breakfast. This time we chose a house. The house is lovely and well maintained. All appliances were top rate and plenty of dishes and other necessities were available. The only thing I would suggest is a few more towels. If we had any concerns Kathy the host answered us very quickly . We had a great time ! If you are seniors like us, the steps are a challenge , but well worth the exercise!
