Esta casa de 3 dormitorios tiene TONELADAS de espacio. El piso principal lo convierte en un increíble espacio de reunión. Es muy grande y abierto. La cocina tiene una fantástica estufa de gas con horno eléctrico. La cocina está completamente equipada con todo lo que necesita para cocinar para su familia y amigos. ¡Relájate afuera bajo la cubierta cubierta que envuelve toda la casa! Hay muchas sillas y cómodos muebles de exterior. Hay una segunda área familiar en la planta baja con su propia sala con una bañera de hidromasaje a solo unos pasos.

Beautiful property and home and amenities. Stayed 7 nights. Kitchen was awesome except skillets and pots/pans in terrible condition. Path to cabin needs work on steps. Laundry room was A. Downstairs living room was wonderful!!! Yellow bedroom was wonderful to wake up in. Upstairs so roomy. Wonderful!!! Loved the hot tub & fire pit. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves so much. Thank You! 5

Beautiful View But Had Some Problems
Overall, we enjoyed the stay but we had some problems. Highlight of the stay was definitely the view of the river from the porch! Really quiet and peaceful. The home is spacious and in a nice small town. The reason we chose this property was for the hot tub. The hot tub did not function and the owner said he had some issues with it from prior guest. Things happen and a simple offer of a partial refund or even a discounted next stay would have gone a long way. The beds were not comfortable. If you are going to run a VRBO invest in beds. The decor was ok but obviously things were pulled together on a budget and it was a bit of a mishmash of decor. The pictures showed a gas grill and there was only a small charcoal grill. It was also a bit alarming when we drove in on a rainy night and there was a car in the driveway. The driveway is shared with a neighbor so we were a little hesitant going into the home but figured it out. I think this place suits a big family but if I had to do it over again I would have stayed somewhere a little more upscale.. you get what you pay for sometimes. The owner was communicative but overall I think he could have been a little more in tune with our experience.

Perfect spot
We visited to watch the eclipse and found the perfect spot for that, but loved the house and its location. Had hoped we could walk into town but not the easiest road. Didn't really matter. Calico Rock is a great town to visit. Great community, lovely people and shops, cafe, bar. Beautiful countryside surrounds it with good walks not far away. Just could have done with a few bits of instructions for the cooker for example, but Steven was very responsive when we messaged him. Hot tub didn't get used much, but great when we did. Isolated location apart from neighbours behind, but they were lovely people and we enjoyed our chats. Not the host's fault, but Arkansas needs to get recycling! It is not a state generally chosen for holidays from the UK but we're glad we did and the Ozarks are a wonderful place to stay.

Family Getaway
We had a wonderful getaway for NYE. We only left the cabin the first night to get groceries at the local grocery store and then never left again our entire stay. The cabin has gorgeous views, is well stocked with everything we needed and much more. The hot tub was perfect for our family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard to make s’mores and just sit around all day. Our lab loved walking around the property and playing fetch in the yard. There were some beautiful walks/hikes right on the property with rock walls and bluffs for stunning pictures. We made every meal in the cabin and had tons of time for family games. We brought our own games but realized there were some in the cabin as well. We also left one for future guests to enjoy. Laundry room was nice so we didn’t go home with anything dirty. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end 2023 and bring in 2024. We will definitely be keeping this cabin on our list if we ever need another serene escape from IN.
