Beautiful setting
Great place if you like a nice, rustic setting. Close to hiking and snowshoeing trails. We had a few minor hiccups, but Evan was great and we had a lovely stay. Rooms are huge and beds are very comfortable. Home is lovely.

Family Wedding Weekend
We travelled from the Coast for our niece's wedding on the Labour Day Weekend. This home provided lots of room for us all to enjoy and bedrooms were situated for our little grandkids to sleep peacefully while the adults visited. Plenty of room outside to enjoy the beautiful Alberta landscape. The host was available for any questions. And the stars were amazing!! Thank you Evan, we had an amazing time at your beautiful ranch house.

Christmas in July

Fantastic stay at the ranch !
Evan's ranch house was perfect for our group of ten. Very clean and in a good location in the foothills. We had great bbq steaks purchased from Evan. There are walking and hiking trails 30 minutes down road. Short drive to hwy 40 and close to ctrain to stampede. A big plus was the grandparents had master bedroom at one end of ranch and the kids had 4 bedrooms at the other end. Thanks Evan for letting us stay at the ranch.

Incredible setting, cozy western vibe.
What a wonderful place for our family to gather. The western theme was perfect. We loved watching the cattle just to the north—they loved watching us too. :) Mountain bluebirds, nearby horse riding, golf, and just relaxing inside in the comfy rooms. Highly recommended!

Beautiful rural escape
Rustic log home on active ranch property in beautiful Alberta foothills. Perfect for our small group of 7 to retreat & reconnect. Great location, good amenities ( 5 beds, 3 bath), BBQ & large outdoor porch area. Ranch house is spacious, comfortable & maintained. Our host Evan was great; available, willing to make extra efforts to make things go well. We don’t hesitate to recommend to others seeking a rural getaway.

Awesome weekend stay
Really nice spot, beautiful and large outdoor space and plenty of room inside. Comfortably slept 10 full grown guys for a golf weekend. Will be staying again in the future

Great multi-generational weekend
We had a great stay for whole family: children, adults and seniors. We liked the remote location and the set up of the house (large dining area, fireplace room for gathering, and a games and tv room set a bit apart so kids could play in morning without waking everyone up. All the bedrooms are large with tub comfy beds. Kids were able to ride bikes on the paved drive way. We ordered delicious steaks that we BBQ’d and were treated to views thank included a herd of elk grazing in the morning as they passed through.

Weekend away
Spent the weekend with some BBQ buddies and this location was the perfect setting for our group. Lots of space inside and out to accommodate us at this rustic ranch house. Our host Evan was exceptional at answering our questions and the beef we got from him was delicious. A hidden gem and we are planning to make this an annual event.

Perfect Spot to Spend with Family
My family loved being able to spend time together in this perfect ranch house. Lots of space and so cozy for Christmas. Only 40 mins from Calgary! Will def be back.

Incredible Stay
We love everything about this property, except for the fire ban (out of our control). It was very peaceful and Kananaskis was just 6 minutes away! The host provided 2 complimentary wine bottles as well, which was a very nice touch!

A Little Taste of Heaven
This home relaxes you upon entry. Everything you need is available and easy to access. Each room is filled with beautiful furniture and tasteful decor. The beds are all comfortable and the bedding is delux. Every window you look out is like a hand painted picture of nature at its best. Being at the ranch was the best part of our trip - even over having lots of fun adventures in Calgary and the near by smaller towns. We enjoyed playing games in both the spacious living room areas and we had great family meals at the large dining table - we even rang the dinner bell each night! Our host was superb - friendly, informative and very available. We also found the local people to be very friendly and helpful while we visited in Turner Valley and Black Diamond. This is an exceptional property that left our family feeling so rested and refreshed. It is a destination all on its own.

Beautiful working Farm
We had a wonderful stay. There we 11 of us and we had plenty of room. Evan was so kind. He was right there whenever we needed anything. Will definitely stay here again. Anyone who is a Heartland fan the property is very close to all the Heartland sites and Marshall County store is just 4 miles away.
