“Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! (So many orchids!). Keith was an awesome host filling us in on everything - even the surrounding area. The walking paths are beautiful and serine. The additional 5 canine hosts were adorable and Mici I'm so sorry you didn't spend at least one night with us! I wish we would have been able to stay longer...

“Where do I even start? There was nothing that wasn’t amazingly cool or unique about this property or the people who run it. From the first night I wanted to write a detailed 5-star review- but now I worry that going too in-depth would spoil all the little things that are there waiting for the next guests to explore and discover. “My husband and I celebrated his 60th birthday (with our two dogs) at this wonderful property. It felt very remote, yet was easy to get there. Kitchen was well equipped, bed was very comfortable and really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace, since it was chilly. Took a 30-minute drive one day to tour the Bonne Terre Mine, which was really fascinating. Would definitely stay again!”

We were in town for a family event and weren't able to enjoy the property to its fullest, but will definitely return in the future to take advantage of the hot tub, extensive grounds, and fire pit.
