“Lovely spa. Really nice hotel and good room. Checkin was a problem as everyone came at 3 pm so there was a long queue. Staggering times would work much better. Cleanliness issue in rooftop disabled toilets. Chrome work in bad need of attention”

“Check in was nice and quick by friendly staff. Room very spacious, large bathroom, comfortable bed, room nice, clean and warm. Breakfast was great, help yourself to anything that was available. The hotel is very old with lots of character, great building. Everyone was very polite and helpful, gave us some great information with what was going on around Buxton and how to get to Bakewell on the local transport. Great stay, would definitely stop here again, when next coming up that way. Thanks.”

“We had a lovely but brief stay at Buxton. Alex was there to greet us with lots of suggestions for things to do. There are no surprises-the property is listed accurately. The beds are clean and the shower is hot!”

“We stayed for two nights in Fernilee a twin room and although a small room the quality of products linen etc was superb and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was lovely and roomy with the decor complimenting the rest of the house and a great walk in shower. Our welcome and throughout the stay was from Andie and Neil the hosts was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a sit down , cup of tea/coffee and home made ginger cake, home made cake were available every day...

“Our stay at TOTS was perfect. Everything is fresh, clean and charming! Julie has thought of everything you might need, I’ve never stayed at a better equipped rental! We had our 4 month old grandson with us and there was everything we could need for him too. There were breakfast goodies and amazing coffee. The location is great for walking and exploring. Great restaurants within walking distance. Tideswell is just lovely!”

“Accommodation perfectly met our needs, to be fair we were only there a couple of nights and out all day and evening so didn’t use many of the amenities but everything was provided to make a stay comfortable and relaxing, would definitely recommend this accommodation ”
