The house was great. Perfect for one or two couples. Nice dock on lake but we did not use on this trip. We came here to help a couple whose house had flooded in the big storm. House was clean and in order.

Totally relaxing & beautiful!! House was super clean with anything you could possibly need. Dock was really a lovely way to spend an afternoon fishing from. Would definitely go back.

Great Cabin
This cottage/cabin is awesome. Knotty pine is special. Everything needed is there and it simply feels great. We stayed nine days and each day your eyes go up to the ceiling as you “take in” the interior. I could walk up the knotty pine stairs a hundred times and enjoy looking at it. Great view of the lake. We liked everything.

Beautiful, relaxing and clean home
Perfect size for us. My husband and adult son were there visiting family in the area. House was very well stocked and clean. Private dock is a good size. Fishing could have been better, wish we had had a boat. We saw fish jumping in deeper water. Lots of steps up to the house so you will get your exercise! Owner provided us with firewood for the fire pit (Thank you!!). House / beds very comfortable. I would stay again.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean, the dock at the lake was so nice for fishing, swimming, relaxing. Great deck on the cabin to hang out..Just beautiful. Quiet and private but close enough to get out to area attractions.. highly recommend this place

Wonderful stay!
Came with my childhood friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays. It was the perfect little getaway, but was only about 45 min away from home for most of us. We enjoyed this clean cozy cabin, sipping coffee on the porch, soaking up the sun on the dock with our cold drinks and snacks, and s’mores by the fire. Bit of a hike back up from the dock, but it was good for us!

Watauga Getaway
Great experience! The location is remote but the house is modern and has nice amenities. We had one minor issue with the door lock and the property manager was there within 15 minutes. The lake is beautiful as advertised! If you’re looking to get away and find some peace and quiet in a beautiful rural setting, this place will deliver.

Great spot on the lake!
We relaxed on the dock, floated, rented a boat for a day. Sat in the porch, sat by fire, cooked/grilled, played games at night. It was great!

Perfect, Relaxing Getaway!
We brought our teenagers to enjoy a few days at the Lake…they left saying they had the best time ever!!! They loved the fire pit, dock and hanging out on the porch. My husband and I loved the cleanliness, well stocked kitchen and gorgeous view! It was so private, well maintained and beautiful! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Driveway was great to park a truck and boat trailer and extra cars! It was so well with stocked towels/supplies…and I loved the fact that it had a laundry room!!! Teens are hard to please….and mine were more than pleased with their experience!!! We’d definitely stay here again!

Ultimate Relaxation
From the moment that we drove up til the minute we departed was nothing but the relaxation time we needed. This property was immaculate. We wanted for nothing! Started every morning with a cup of coffee on the porch swing overlooking beautiful Lake Watagua and ended every evening (weather permitting) cooking dinner on the campfire or gas grill. The kitchen was well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were also well appointed. Like I said … we wanted for nothing and got much more than we expected! Our host was more than accommodating … very welcoming with goodies and a card and at the same time allowed us complete privacy during our complete stay. We hope to be back in the near future!!! Highly recommend this lovely property!!

This Home is absolutely Beautiful we felt right at home and Steve made sure everything was perfect even went out of his way to make place for a trailer we were pulling. We will definitely stay here again and we are gonna tell family and friends to book this home. ❤️
