“We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. We found the cottage to be comfortable, including plenty of cooking utensils, good stove and a reasonable-size fridge. There was plenty of hot water for the comfortable...

“Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ... “We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”
