Overall, this property was not good for bringing our grandchildren to. Outdoors was not kept up well or inviting. There is no yard, just overgrown weeds on the terraced slopes. It is on a steep incline, very rocky and old rusty metal junk laying around. Some of the patio furniture was worn and broken, ie a rocking chair, table umbrellas and the grill. The host did tell me the lake was down and the piers were not over the water and it was rocky, but it was worse than I thought. The kayaks they gave us permission to use were functional, but the seats were worn and broken, needing to be replaced. The inside was clean enough; although there were sheets left in the dryer and dishes put into cabinets wet upon our arrival. I should have looked more closely at the description of the house. There was just one bathroom which was a bit challenging given we were 7 people. Also there is no indoor dining table where we could all sit together for meals.
I recommend giving this place some good TLC, replacing broken and worn things and taking better care of it.
