“Fantastic little home in a great location. So close to town and all the activities we did. The house itself was clean and tidy. Toys and books for the kids was great. Perfect for a family. Only downfall was the sofa-bed was not comfortable at all and we couldn’t use it. We would stay again if visiting New Plymouth. ”

“We stayed for one night on our way home to Auckland from Wellington. Annette and her husband are welcoming hosts. She helped us with dinner recommendations and things to do. Their garden knowledge is fantastic and they were very happy to share their knowledge and experience with us. A lovely relaxing place with a very comfy bed and atmosphere. ”

“A relaxing retreat in a quiet location. Vintage style granny vibe decor, this quaint cottage had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. TV not smart but OK. The garden was nice with lots of fruit trees. Washing machine in bathroom was good but no extractor fan in bathroom and no insect screens to keep bugs out if windows left open.Beds were varied. Twin beds very comfy and queen bed too soft and very high off ground. Nice to have bed in conservatory, made a fabulous day bed for relaxing...

“We had a great stay here. The property is very clean and comfortable, the owners go the extra mile by providing a few drinks and snacks, communication was very clear, and we felt we had privacy even though it's part of their home. It's in lovely location near the port, but still walking distance to town for dinner. Highly recommend and would stay again.”
