Just okay.
This place has hot tub and fire pit listed in its title, but read the fine print, you have to pay an extra fee to use these amenities. And when we received check in instructions, we were also warned that if we wore shoes in the house, we’d be charged another $150.
The cleanliness of the house could definitely be better—there were dirty rags under the sink… not sure if those were supposed to be our kitchen linens. The dish sponge was so gross, we had to walk to the nearby store to buy a new sponge and some paper towels. There was no hand towel in the bathroom, but we later found one in an upstairs bedroom. And things overall just needed some cleaning… countertops, dishes, etc.
I will say the the outdoor space is lovely, but again, you have to pay extra if you use the hot tub or fire pit. We brought our own grill and fire pit to avoid these charges, and that worked out well. Also the house is conveniently located to get around to attractions easily.
There were just a lot of odd things about it… the dishwasher was not bolted in, so it tipped forward every time you opened it. The table in the kitchen allows you to access either the back door OR the dishwasher, but not both without moving it. You had to slide the table to get to the dishwasher, then slide it back over to get out the door. There were a lot of strange things like that in this house. I’d say it’s almost ready to be rented, but not quite.
The beds are just okay, tableware for only 4, so we had to keep washing.
