The place was cute and a good place to stay for a night or two. We chose to go in pretty cold temperatures and noticed the unit doesn't retain heat well. The heaters ran pretty constantly. There's a wall unit and an extra heater, but the extra heater really has no where safe to go without being too close to the bed or rug. Something for the owner to keep an eye on. The water heater is fairly small so you can really only get a quick 10 minute shower when it's really cold out, but otherwise was a nice shower stall and bathroom. You might want to leave the bathroom door open when you're done as there is no vent in there to prevent any mildew. There are two ceiling fans, but we were not sure how to use them as there was not an obvious light switch and the chains were very short. The curtain above the window unit heater was tied in a weird way to where we couldn't close it for privacy, so they might want to invest in a shorter one.
Regardless we enjoyed the stay and I'm sure when its warmer out there wouldn't be an issue. Its a good quick getaway that was conveniently close to the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center. Nearby Brownville has some small groceries and food places. The unit was well stocked with a small kitchen set, fresh sponges, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, and clean towels.
