“Megan and Aaron are excellent hosts that showed great hospitality and quick communication. I was very impressed with the quality and care they put into their yurt. The wood stove and propane heater do a fine job keeping the place warm (it was 20 below outside when I was there and 65 above in the yurt), and the water system and heated outhouse are cool touches. The place is super close to the Sax Zim bog Welcome Center, so it served as an excellent home base to embark on my adventures to the bog....

“We really enjoyed the space. The younger people enjoyed the pin ball machine, the sauna, and the hot tub. My husband and I appreciated the kitchen and two refrigerators. Plenty of space to cook and make family meals. We also enjoyed the ample seating as card games were able to include everyone easily at the same table. Nice large dining room table to seat at least ten, maybe even 12 depending on ages.”

“I came up to the Duluth area with my parents for a photography trip to Sax-Zim Bog and the North Shore and wanted accommodations that were conveniently located for travel in those directions. This house is in a spot close to I-35 and Hwy 53 and only minutes away from restaurants and grocery stores (important for our stay).
