Beautiful Cabin but bring your own blender.
Had an amazing time! Host was very helpful and her response was almost always immediate! I learned from my mistake from last year and asked about them having a blender despite the ad stating it does which saved me from going out to eat and being able to cook all of our meals. Not a biggie though. I didn’t mind brining my own! Everything else was perfect!

Great Family Getaway
Amazing time with our adult kids and family. We were snowed in and played games and enjoyed the views. The home is beautiful with beautiful views. Would definitely visit again! Thank you to the host for opening their home to us and being quick to respond when needed.

Family Getaway
This was an after Christmas escape for our family of 5 (Ages 11, 17, 19, 48, 49). The house and location are spectacular and we enjoyed every aspect of the home. Very close to all that Hochatown has to offer, and plenty of activities at the house for the nightly unwind and family games. I would highly recommend a stay here if you enjoy some seclusion with all the tourist activities that you would need within a short drive!

Christmas in the Woods
The cabin was the perfect place for our family. There’s so much to offer that you’ll never have to leave for entertainment. We played games, pool, shuffle board, and loved the retro arcade games with Pac-man, Galaga, etc. The temperature of the hot tub was perfect as we used it in the 35 degree weather. It was so nice that each bedroom not only had a king bed, but its own bathroom. Then the additional four bathroom of the game room was a plus! The dual gas fire place was perfect for keeping us warm inside and out on the back porch as we watched the birds and enjoyed nature. We hope to return again in the near future!

Great quiet getaway close to Hochatown
Our trip was great! 6 adults and a very comfortable home with a quiet setting at the end of a culdesac . The house had all we needed and we enjoyed the deck and gas fireplace and hot tub every evening after a nice day at the park . We would come back for sure!

Nice home, we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend a good dusting of the window blinds and cleaning the windows. They were so dirty and dusty, it made the house feel a bit dirty. But, liked the 3 king beds and the beds were comfortable.

Awesome stay!
Great cabin close to Beavers Bend and several restaurants. The house had 3 king suites with attached bathrooms, ideal for 3 couples. It was private but close to several other cabins so you could occasionally hear other families. We enjoyed the time at the fire pit at night and relaxing on the patio in the cool mornings.

Beautiful property!
This property does not disappoint. From the moment you walk in its breathtaking. We had everything we needed. The back steps down to fire pit is alot so for those older or with issues climbing stairs it could be an issue. The location is perfect! All communication with host was awesome and quick. The property is literally about 1-2 miles from all the action.

Repeat Customers
We, once again, enjoyed our stay at this cabin in Hochatown. It is plenty large and has all of the amenities of home. The upstairs game room is quite enjoyable, although the pool sticks for the pool table need to have the tips replaced, need a supply of chalk and the table needs to be recovered. With us loving pool, this was a little disappointing. We even tried to locate some pool supplies in town, but we could not find. The shuffleboard pucks are peeling on the bottom (which means they don't slide very well) and need to be replaced as well. The house is beautiful on the inside and the beds are so comfy! We had a couple of major issues with this stay, that I am sure Nathalie will correct immediately. Unfortunately, she could not correct them while we were there. However, she was on top of everything and communicated well with us during the stay. We would definitely re-book this house, for our third time, without hesitation! Great location too!

Just what we needed. We moved a rug to accommodate sis in her wheelchair, but other than that she could go in and out of both main floor doors. Thanks for the coffee and supplies! We weren’t expecting that. We all enjoyed the deck.

Spring Break Getaway!
This cabin was perfect for a last minute getaway for spring break. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space but plenty of fun activities to enjoy together. We highly recommend the shuffle board! This is close to everything you want to do while in Hochatown. We will be back!

Cozy cabin for good family times and relaxation. Cabin is well kept and has a fully stocked kitchen. The crock pot made for an easy cooking option on a day full day of adventures at nearby Beavers Bend State Park. Thank you for hosting our stay!

Perfect for three couples
This was our second annual trip to Sweet Summer Rain. It’s a perfect get away for my sisters and our hubs. We enjoyed the fire pit every night, played games galore, hiked and loved the beauty of the area. We will be back!
