“This is an amazing Minnesota find! Our family of six found the cabin on Stone Lake to be the perfect getaway before school starts back up. “The cabin was nice and we liked that it was next to water. There are just a few things that we weren't impressed with. When we arrived the driveway wasn't plowed and the deck wasn't shoveled. As much as we paid for 2 nights I would think this would be done. Another thing is that the security camera that is outside of the house is setup to where you can see it inside the house.. If you can see the camera the camera can see you. So if you walk out of the bedroom naked, they are going to see you....

“This is a great location for skiing at Giants Ridge. The beds were comfortable. The house could use a little TLC. It is a few years old. Those that stayed downstairs said there was a bad smell from the laundry room. Here is my one beef with many houses that say they sleep 10 - there are not chairs to seat 10 around a table. If you are sleeping 10 you are probably eating with 10, All in all, this is a great house. The owner was quick to fix a major problem. ”

“This cabin was a nice cozy cabin with enough sleeping room for the six adults we had plus we had one more bed for a single. It was located where we needed it to go further north or to go into Duluth. It was great. We came back one day and there were just four deer roaming around the property and the other day when I woke up there was one peeking in the window. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend. If I was gonna stay at Christmas, I would bring Christmas decorations....

“This was a great location for exploring the shore. There was easy access to both Duluth and the North Shore parks. It provided plenty of space for the 6 of us. We were able to gather together for family time and spread out when we wanted to get our homework done (2 college students and a teacher in the group). Be aware that it is on a well, so depending on what you are use to, you might want to bring bottled drinking water. ”
