The owner responded to our concerns ASAP, having someone empty the existing garbage. He also updated a couch from last year with a much better couch. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Loved staying here
We spent 2 weeks at the cabin and it was everything it was advertised to be. It was extremely dog friendly, with a large fenced property. The cabin was nicely equipped. The kitchen equipment was well thought out. The porches were comfortable and great for enjoying the outdoors with a good book. There were more than sufficient supplies in the house, towels, soaps, kitchen cleaning products, etc. The house was convenient to downtown Brevard and it's offerings. It was a fairly easy ride to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and its views. The owner was very easy to deal with. We enjoyed out stay and are seriously considering re-booking this cabin again next summer. Highly recommend Firefly Cabin.

Firefly Fun
The Firefly Cabin was a perfect spot for our mountain getaway! It was close to town & to the local hiking & breweries. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Our dogs loved the fenced yard for running around and investigating all of the new smells! The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparations. Lastly, the hot tub was a wonderful way to end a day of hiking! Will definitely return to the Firefly Cabin!!!

Cabin in the woods
Stayed here for the weekend when my daughter was getting married. Lovely little house, very clean. We would have liked more time to explore and enjoy the area but the schedule was full with wedding events.

Great house
We have stayed in the Brevard area many times over the years and this was our favorite rental. The house is in a great location between DuPont where we like to hike and Brevard. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. And our dog loved the yard.

This house is perfect for our family and pets. We always enjoy staying at Firefly cabin. The host is very responsive to any questions/concerns. Its a wonderful place to stay and the fenced in yard is a plus!

Great stay
Clean place to stay. We took our two dogs and they enjoyed the freedom to roam the porch and backyard safely. The hot tub was ready to go before we arrived! That was my wife’s favorite part. Great location, private and quiet. Will stay again in the future.

Fabulous retreat
We recently stayed at David's property and had a wonderful experience. The house was just right for us, with all the amenities one could wish for, including a fantastic fenced yard perfect for our dog/fur baby. David provided clear check-in and check-out instructions that made our arrival and departure smooth and easy. David’s attention to detail and hospitality shone throughout our visit, making us feel at home. We are especially grateful for the pet-friendly accommodations, which made our stay extra special. The house met and exceeded our expectations with its view and comfort. The hot tub is awesome. The two porches are great. The quiet was blissful. Thank you, David, for such a fantastic getaway! We look forward to returning soon.

A great experience
The cabin was in perfect condition and the fenced in yard was an excellent area for our dogs to get out and get some exercise. The location is great as it is only 15 minutes from downtown Brevard. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Dog vacation
My wife, dog, and I had an incredible stay at the firefly cabin. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything you could need during your stay. Our pup loved it as much as we did and we even joked that this was our dog’s vacation! We enjoyed our trip so much we are already planning our return!

Wonderful pet friendly cabin

Winter Dog Vacation
The property is perfect for us and our dog! But mostly, it is great to stay somewhere with enough TP, dish soap, paper towels, etc. so you don’t have to run to the store right away. Even leftover spices and herbs were a big plus. Chairs in the closet for the fire pit were great. We will divinely be back. David is a great host!

The firefly cabin was a beautiful place to have a weekend getaway. Definitely pet friendly, our dog had plenty of room to run around and play and has a secure fenced in yard. We all had a great time and will recommend this cabin to friends and family!

Fabulous location for Dupont MTB
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Firefly cabin. It’s a great location for riding Dupont trails and enjoying downtown Brevard. The hot tub was a big hit. David was an amazing host and super accommodating with a change in our plans. We will definitely stay again.

Well located with awesome outdoor spaces
My pup loved the yard, and our favorite part of the house was the wraparound deck and upstairs deck. We had one minor issue where our lock code didn't work, but the host was very responsive and got it sorted out quickly. The house is very close to Brevard, Dupont Forest and Pisgah National Forest, and there's a number of neat local pottery and crafts shops on the road to the neighborhood.
