This house was exceptional in all ways. The rooms are lovely and spaceous in a gorgeous setting. The house was extremely well stocked. The management company was very attentive and responsive. We had a marvelous time.

Disappointing accommodations

We were pleased with the location of the house, its proximity to town and the amazing mountain views. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the home was not satisfactory.Within 10 minutes of check in my wife had found and was using a vacuum to clean before our guests arrived. (The aged Bissel didn't stand a chance and made no difference) The sofas in the living room had so much dog hair on them that you really didn't want to sit on them, so we ended up covering them with sheets.The sofas in the basement were also covered in dog hair and smelled so strong of urine that the entire room was unusable. The smell found its way into the adjoining bedrooms which made sleeping there unpleasant.The blankets on the beds did not seem to be clean which made getting into bed unappealing. The basement bathtub did not drain proper, and the tub would fill before you could finish a shower. In general, there was dust and cobwebs around the house and a lack of detail in cleaning.I understand that the property is pet friendly. However, this does not lend to a willingness to live in filth while on vacation. I would think that with the additional pet fee charged to visitors and the amount of the cleaning fee that the property would be maintained at a higher level for its guests.To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was embarrassed that I invited my friends to stay in this home. I honestly can't imagine how so many of the reviews gave high marks for cleanliness.

Holiday Magic!

We loved our stay in the cozy Blue River neighborhood! The house was perfect for what we needed and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking cozy meals to celebrate the holidays. Hot tub was a nice addition as well!

Mountain House Getaway

Overall, we had a fabulous time and the house was beautiful. Unfortunately, we checked in to a house that hadn't been thoroughly cleaned and was very obvious dogs had been there prior. The bed comforters were also dirty and made climbing into bed unpleasant. Management did drop off new bedding the next day and came and cleaned. I also highly recommend checking the hot tub on day one. We did not and were unable to use it our last night. Also the garage key pad wasn't working. Stunning house and views, just a bit unfortunate it wasn't as clean as it should've been.

Beautiful home

Conveniently located near town but perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the amazing views of the mountains. This spacious home has everything needed for a relaxing place to stay. We would definitely return if looking for a place in the Breckenridge area!

4th of July stay

This was our 3rd year in a row staying in the area for the 4th of July week. 4 out of the last 6 summers. We typically try to stay just outside of Breck to get a little more privacy. This place is just that. Out of all the years, this was our favorite place we have stayed. The home was everything you needed. From a great floor plan, to having every kitchen item you can think of, it exceeded expectations. Hot tub was great. Views were amazing. Privacy was perfect. There is a nice trail behind the house to wake up and walk in the morning. Neighborhood park was a nice 5 minute walk down the street for the kids. Saw plenty of wildlife in the neighborhood as well. Fox, deer, and even two moose. We loved our stay here.

Wedding destination

My son and his fiancé chose Blue Lakes for their wedding destination. The property was perfectly located near the lakes and Breckenridge. We had a slightnproblem with the road coming in because of water runoff creating a rough entry for our CRV. Our truck did fine. We contacted the property management and they were on top of it.

Great location and awesome home.

We had an excellent stay and a great time snowboarding at Breck and Keystone. I wish the hot tub would have been working but they did try to fix it while we were there. Beds probably need new mattresses as they werent the most comfortable, but we were so tired from playing all day. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Fantastic Getaway!

What a wonderful house thank you for sharing with us! Just the right amount of distance from town to feel private, secluded and away from it all. A 10 minute drive will get you to town for all the great good and sight seeing! Hot tub, surround sound speakers, steam room, the views and kitchen were our favorite things! Add a fireplace and fire pit, morning walks with coffee and crisp air-perfect getaway from Denver for us!

Week in the Mountains

It was a perfect spot just outside of Breck with plenty of privacy. Very easy to get to and had wonderful amenities. We would definitely recommend this house and stay again.

Great Getaway

We booked this place for a last minute trip and it was everything mentioned and more. We liked that it was a little outside of Breckenridge, great views and a clean place. Well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed the playground right down the hill for our two small children. Would definitely stay again!
