“I have nothing but gushing reviews for my Makanda Cabin stay. The cabin was easy to navigate to. When I opened the door I found a clean, comfortable, well appointed place, with two good size bedrooms, living room with fireplace, a bathroom stocked with plenty of towels and soap. There was a basket full of treats on the kitchen table. Hangers were in the closets, luggage rack and lots of shelves to organise wedding and hiking clothing. I could truly relax there. “We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was cute and cozy, perfect for my husband and me. There is a nice deck to star gaze or sit in the sunshine. “This place was perfect for our weekend stay. The cabin was clean and cozy, thought it could be buggy due to the location but not one in sight. We used the pullout couch bed which was good for our needs but the mattress is thin so it was helpful we brought a second comforter to add more cushioning. Also, the host was very attentive and responsive. Place had everything we needed and I would definitely stay again! ”

“So many good things about this house- great location, so cute, stocked with snacks. My two complaints are 1) the furniture. The couch and chairs are flaking leather, and it’s all over the floors. You can’t lay on the couch, the flakes get everywhere then. I found them in the bed, in my hair… I think that needs to be taken care of. 2) we found a dead mouse in a trap under the couch. Really wish that would have been checked and dealt with before we got there. All in all, I do recommend this house...
