"This charming stone farmhouse in the quiet area of Eglise-Neuve-de-Vergt in the Dordogne is an absolute joy to stay at. It is so much more than just an ordinary gite. Located just off a little lane about a hundred metres away from the local road. It is very well equipped and the rooms are quite large, spacious and comfortable. "The house was not clean and old. Lots of spiderwebs and spiders inside the house. It can be a beautiful place with the castle and all but it’s not well maintained. There is a lot weeds and the playground equipment are defective. The pool is loose at the edges."

"Fantastic time to be had by all in this lovely setting. More than enough room for everyone and the facilities were spot on. Location was wonderful, just near enough to a local bar for a quick sundowner before heading back for a pool side evening. The owners were more than helpful and very good at recommending local eateries. I would highly recommend for those looking to relax. Thank you to you both for a wonderful stay. "
