Not so close and a bit runned down
"Bed was too small and extremely hard. I was greeted by a wonderful helpful lady called Maya and thanks to her the stay was a bit more pleasant, but hotel is very runned down and noisy."

"It's a lovely hotel with excellent grounds to walk the dogs in. Although it could do with a paint touch up in places and some TLC The room we had was clean and the bed was comfy. "Fantastic lodge, so well looked after with all the little bits you need. Superb location with amazing views, very peaceful and great base for visiting other areas of the lake district. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"The place had an unforgettable view from the living area and was well-equipped. There are plenty of guides about the local area which is helpful to plan your days. The host was very responsive, warm, and willing to adjust to our schedules. We would be glad to visit again."
