“Shady Hollow deserves an easy 5 star rating. My husband and I stayed with our 5 children aged 1-8, and it was perfect. We all enjoyed the beach, beautiful lake view, swimming, paddle boards, fishing, pedal boat and kayaks, which was included in the cost. The lake was shallow enough for our kids to play safely and there were plenty of toys on the beach for them to use and build sand castles. “We couldn’t check in until four in the afternoon and had to be out by 10 in the morning on Sunday, and so even if you have two nights you feel as if you only had one day. The price was rather high for just one full day…. And two nights . It wasn’t on the lake but It was a clean and a decent rental unit.”

“Stayed here for 4 nights with spouse and 3 family members. Nice clean cute cabin. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Fishing was productive and the lake is very clean. The only drawback was being so close to BIR and the loudness during the races or practice or whatever they were doing. But since we were on the water or exploring the area we didn't hear too much of it. But in spite of that we totally enjoyed it!”
