¡Bienvenido a Croft Cove en el lago Lamoka!  Esta cómoda casa de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños tiene capacidad para 8 personas y tiene el tamaño justo para esa semana o fin de semana perfecto en el lago.

Esta casa tiene una rica historia familiar durante varias generaciones y se ha actualizado para ser una casa moderna y acogedora en el lago.  Ubicado a lo largo de una calle tranquila del lago y en un pequeño vecindario junto al lago, este lugar es exactamente lo que pensarías cuando imaginas una comunidad frente al lago.

La casa tiene una gran terraza de nueva construcción que se envuelve alrededor de la casa y domina el lago.  Al entrar desde la entrada principal en el costado de la casa, ingresará a la gran sala de estar con ventanas que dan al lago, cómodos sofás y mucho espacio para jugar o mirar televisión.

La cocina y el comedor están escondidos detrás de la sala de estar y la cocina está completamente equipada con utensilios de cocina, platos, electrodomésticos, etc.  La cocina tiene el rincón de café más lindo donde puedes preparar tus favoritos.  El área de comedor es parte de la cocina y tiene puertas corredizas que dan a la terraza donde puede disfrutar de sus comidas al aire libre en la mesa de comedor al aire libre o asar su carne favorita en la parrilla de gas.  La terraza también tiene un área de descanso y es el lugar perfecto para esa taza de café.

Hay un baño completo en el piso principal, justo al lado de la cocina con bañera / ducha.

Arriba encontrarás la enorme suite Master.  No estamos bromeando cuando decimos masivo.  Esta habitación tiene techos altos, grandes armarios, enormes ventanas que dan al lago, una pequeña área de oficina, un futón y una cama King.  ¡Esta será la habitación elegida por los invitados!   Hay un baño principal grande adjunto a la suite, con una gran ducha y un lavabo doble.  La suite principal también tiene su propio balcón con un conjunto de puertas francesas que se abren al balcón ... el lugar elegido para tomar el sol o mirar las estrellas después de que se pone el sol.

El dormitorio 2 tiene una cama de tamaño completo con una cama nido y está justo afuera del pasillo hacia la suite principal.  El dormitorio 3 se encuentra al lado del dormitorio 2 (en la parte superior de las escaleras) y tiene una cama King size. 

Croft Cove tiene alrededor de 50 pies de su propia fachada de lago privado con un muelle que puede usar durante su estadía.  Hay una hoguera en la orilla del agua con un patio ... un gran lugar para asar algunos hot dogs o unos malvaviscos con los niños.  

Croft Cove es el hogar perfecto para sus vacaciones de una semana en el lago con familiares o amigos, o esa escapada de fin de semana prolongada que necesita en su vida.  ¡Esperamos que te quedes!

Lakefront Getaway
Great lakefront home near lots of wineries, distilleries and breweries. Many local outdoor activities nearby not to mention the dock available right out the back door of this cute and comfortable lake house. We enjoyed the outside deck, fire pit and beautiful sunsets. We would definitely book again in the future. Just wish dogs were allowed we would utilize it more often.

The description on the site does not do this cabin justice. The lake is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Even though our weather turned on us, it did not deter the enjoyment one minute. The deck views are gorgeous and we sat out there every moment that we could. The house is spotless, comfortable, and it’s obviously loved. I have nothing bad to say about this vacation experience at all. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed right now.

Wonderful First Time Experience
We had never been to the Finger Lakes before, but because of this home, we will be certain to visit again in the future. Our only “real” issue was the smoke detector going off at random times; once late at night, and once early in the morning. However, the communication during these occurrences was spectacular. We are extremely grateful for the hospitality.

Wonderful vacation getaway
Our blended family had a great time in this lovely lake cabin! Plenty of room for all 7 of us, with lots to do in the surrounding areas. The hosts clearly care a lot about this property, everything was clean and well maintained. They provided many ideas for nearby attractions (including wineries, of course). We would absolutely visit again!

Waterfall Whirlwind
The original plan for this trip was to see Niagara Falls, but I saw some photos a friend took at Watkins Glen, and decided I had to go there too 😊 Croft Cove was a great location! Near to Watkins Glen and Watkins Glen State Park, Buttermilk Falls SP, Taughannock Falls SP, and all the Ithaca waterfalls. All were beautiful as were the sunsets over Lamoka Lake after we returned from our adventures each evening. Everyone needs to visit Glen Dairy Barn for ice cream! Our only complaint is we wish we had stayed an extra day just to chill at the lake!

Very cozy, but needs a few updates
Just about everything about the property is as advertised, but there were a few things that could use replacement/fixing/updating. On the excellent front - it’s a very comfortable home and the views/location are astounding. We had a great time lounging, playing games, and enjoying the views. The kitchen is also well-stocked, and had everything we needed. On the not-so-good side, I’d start with the water. Be prepared for a strong metallic odor. Not uncommon for well water, but it’s not something that’s very clear upfront. It would be great if the bottled water dispenser had a bottle provided. The couch in the living room also needs replacing. It sinks significantly when you sit on it and seems to have a broken support from what I can tell. The king bed in the second bedroom is also turned the wrong way so that it will fit in the room. It makes it difficult to sleep on it for someone that’s six feet or taller, as your feet hang off of the end. Another downside of the iron in the water is that the shower in the master suite just doesn’t put out enough pressure. The shower heads could use a good soaking in a CLR solution, as maybe half of the holes were clogged and wouldn’t put out water. Lastly, don’t rely on the futon in the master suite for an additional bed unless you move the cushion to the floor. It will tip over if you pull it out and try to sleep on it (we tried to put our teenager on it and had to move it to the floor). Ultimately, this would be the perfect vacation home if a few things were updated and the situation with the water was made clearer upfront.

very nice
the house is nice. The master bedroom and bath is beautiful, with a fantastic view of the lake. We had bad weather, a lot of rain. We like to swim and spend most of our time in the water on this annual girls' vacation. We weren't able to do that here because of the weather. Also, there is a lot of green growth at the waters' edge, which made the swimming a little creepy. Still we enjoyed our time together in this house.

Laughs and Memories at Lamoka
This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Croft Cove and we hope it’s not our last. We’ve decided it’s one of our favorite places to stay. Family Getaway
Our family of 5 enjoyed our long weekend stay. The house was comfortable and cozy with beautiful views of the lake. We especially appreciated the location, as it was a short drive to Watkins Glen and the Ithaca area.

the standard to follow
This home was great right on the lake and a beautiful house, I was very glad we went with this house because during our stay we had 3 rainy days. This made for a great time even indoors. On our nice days, we went swimming, taught our son how to fish, and grilled on the deck it was a perfect spot for a family. The swimming is great, easy concrete steps into the water and it is about 4 feet deep at the end of the dock, after that it was over my head at 6'3" in no time. So it was a very gentle slope into the deep water and a perfect spot by the steps for young children learning how to swim to practice. Don't hesitate to spend time at croft it is amazing.

Casual lake trip with friends
We had a wonderful time visiting the finger lakes with our 2 young boys and close friends and their young kids. The view off the deck was beautiful, house was clean, host was helpful, and check in/out was a breeze. We wish there was a paddle board/kayak so we could get out on the water but we had so much fun grilling and fishing off the dock. Overall a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed the property very much. The rooms were clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The rain shower in the main bathroom was awesome. We had a lovely campfire on the lakefront patio. The fish were jumping and the critters were lively. And there were many wineries within an easy drive. I was sorry to leave.

Perfect Lake Getaway
Croft Cove is the perfect place for a long weekend getaway in the early spring and I can easily imagine staying a week or more in the summer. The interior of the house is beautiful and warmly inviting with fantastic views of Lake Lamoka. The big picture windows allow you to view a sunset over the water even when it's still too chilly to sit outside. It was exactly as advertised and allowed three friends to completely relax and laugh a lot. The smaller lake proved to have a homey feel while being situated equally between the bigger lakes Seneca and Keuka to explore, making it an ideal location. Our party of guests are eager to return to explore more of the FInger Lakes, to kayak around Lamoka in the summer, and view the leaves in the fall!

Family Getaway for Vintage car festival
Great property, excellent location w/ fabulous views. The home is well stocked & very comfortable. A few minor recommendations: Additional curtains in master bedroom & screens on the French doors would be great. Some of the other screens need some repairs also. Clorox tablets would work well on the hard water stains in the bathrooms. However, this isn't meant to be critical. We appreciate the owner's sharing their home with us and would definitely return. Thank You

Beautiful lakefront getaway
Our family really enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is perfect, we were able to fish, kayak/paddle board, or swim each day. The deck is a great size for hanging out as a group, enjoying your meals outside, and watching the breathtaking sunsets. The living room is also a great size and has a view of the lake, which was perfect for a rainy day indoors. A few notes for future renters - there is a window AC unit the cools the entire 1st floor very well, and one for the master bedroom. The other two bedrooms do not have AC. They provide standup fans but I would recommend bringing window fans. Also, there were a few projects in process/incomplete. I would probably ask about them as some areas might not be ideal for very young children. Overall a nice property, incredibly quiet and relaxing.
