The property was very welcoming to pets. My dog enjoyed the pet area. The villa was absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen had everything we need to cook in. My sister and i enjoyed sitting out in the backyard it was beautifully decorated. We also liked being close to the Riverwalk. We walked the rivery every day. Theresa was very helpful in answering our questions timely manner. The only thing we didn't like on our stay is the cool weather and you have no control over that. I would recommend Salty Lime to my friends and family. I would also like to come back in the spring so that I can enjoy the weather as well. Thanks for your hospitality Theresa.

What a great place, traveled a lot and this place sits at the top,the yard and pool is an absolute oasis.You could not ask for better, the kitchen was very roomy and had every item you could ever need. Hands down the best host and stay I've had in all my years using VRBO!!! Theresa and her family poured love into their property and units and it shows in every place. This was a difficult trip being for a family death but the Salty Lime villa was a comfortable and peaceful place to come back to after a long day. The villa was spotless and I usually have to clean every place despite the "cleaning fees" places charge. Not here everything was pristine and had so many personal touches from her greeting board with our names and message "Love lives on" to greet us on such a difficult day. I miss these personal touches when staying at other places ran by properly management where we're just another number. The location is perfect. Quiet and peaceful by the river with pretty views. Outdoor space was my favorite with lights everywhere at night. Garden and small water feature were very relaxing. Don't skip on this place you won't be disappointed!! Book it now :-)

The best mini vacation

We are already discussing when we can come back and bring more family. The Salty Lime vila was nothing short of beautiful, peaceful, clean. The outdoor space was a total Zen space. We met the owners and they truly have put their whole hearts into this space. The location is perfect and centralized to several beautiful beaches, delicious food and shops.

Absolutely perfect

My words won’t do this place justice. Let’s get the basics out of the way… EVERYTHING you will need is there. From Q-tips to bicycles, extra pillows to coolers. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Check in couldn’t have been more simple. Ok now for my opinion… there was more love and care put into this place than anywhere else I’ve ever stayed. Every little detail is welcoming. I could’ve never left the property for the entire vacation and considered myself fortunate. Lounging in the pool, chasing lizards in the back yard, mastering the subtle art of the hammock dismount. It’s a walk through the grass and you’re at the riverwalk. That place deserves a review on its own. Then the sun goes down and the place looks like something out of a storybook. The lights, the little waterfall, the billion year old tree. Trust me you just have to see it. The host is amazing too. She can give you great advice on things to do around the area, quick to answer any questions, welcoming, and extremely kind. The only thing else I’ll say is, if you’re waffling between this place and somewhere else like I was, pick this one. You’ll thank me later.

We had a lovely stay for our 24th wedding anniversary. My husband is in the military and is about to be shipped off again, so we wanted a quiet place to connect before he leaves. The Villa was so quiet, clean & well appointed. The hosts were wonderful. This is right across from the riverwalk. You can see it from the front patio. The backyard oasis is just phenomenal. So many little spots to sit and relax- BIG banyan tree that lights up at night- a waterfall- a sweet little plunge pool… too many cool things to name them all. We would definitely stay again

Super cute place to stay

It was the perfect place to stay while visiting family during the holiday. The courtyard out back is delightful and the interior space was too! We felt like we had the place to ourselves and appreciated the personal touches left by the host (don’t want to spoil any surprises). We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for being pet-friendly! Peaceful and beautiful stay

Perfect location for our family of 4. Right across from the manatee river with the pier, we enjoyed walking across the street there every morning. Owner was phenomenal & very sweet. Villa was super clean with everything we needed for our stay! We will definitely be back!

Great little place in an ideal location

This is one of our favorites! The location is ideal with easy access to Manatee Ave. The park has an incredible old pine tree and wonderful air off of the river. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. We loved the garden area out back. Thank you for making this a nice home away from home.

Oasis on the Manatee River

Everything about this property is wonderful! No details were overlooked, it’s newly renovated, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean!! When sitting in the garden area, it feels as though you’re in a tropical paradise. ☀️My husband and I especially appreciated the beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas and wagon, fishing gear, kayaks and bicycles available for use.
