Marblehead is our home town so we have visited family many times over the years. This was our first time staying in this house and it was perfect for our needs. While in a quiet residential part of town, it was still walkable to downtown, shops, restaurants and the water, for those who like to walk. The entrance to the house is one step up from street level for visitors that have mobility issues and that was a plus for potential family we might have invited over. It is also quiet and picturesque, near the water on a pretty street. Parking was very, very easy. There is a great driveway and plenty of on street parking. The house was very attractive, well laid out and clean. We really enjoyed sitting out in the front yard at night. It was fun to see people walking by with their dogs, even a cousin happened to walk by and stopped to say hello, it felt like we were home. The instructions left by owners were very clear and easy to follow and the amenities were very thoughtful. As travelers away from our homes we are often in the position to receive hospitality from local family. It's a nice switch to be able to invite a couple local family members over to where we are staying for a simple deli lunch when we are in town. We were very comfortable doing so in this space. The living room, kitchen and dining room areas are pretty, bright, airy and uplifting and had everything we needed to feel at home. It's a very comfortable, well appointed and welcoming home. I highly recommend staying at this property. I'm sure we will visit again!
