This is a small room next to the MA State Legislature and the Boston commons. The room is clean, and the bed sleeps well. Perfectly functional is all you need is a place to sleep. I would not recommend this place for more than one guest. It's simply too small - and there's only one chair.
The kitchen is performative only. Despite there being two hot plates, there is only one small saucepan. So you can make rice, but no beans. And certainly no fried eggs for breakfast. There is also no towel to dry your stuff with after washing it.
As others have mentioned, check-in is a disaster for this place. You have to walk downhill to a 7/11 half a mile away to get your key from a small lock box that the cashier of the 7/11 does not know is there (it's on the right of the entrance to the left of the ATM). On top of that, they gave me the wrong code, so I ended up with the wrong key, and had to go back to get the right key with a different code. Dragging my luggage up and down the hill again. There are better solutions for this.
Furthermore, whomever runs this place is so busy reminding you of all the rules that even threaten involving the police if you don't leave on time ("only for the bad apples") that they will not welcome you at any time.
So, if you just need a bed next to the MA Legislature or Boston Commons, this place is great. Just don't expect to be welcomed.
