I have to say that there is a reason for this price so close to the city. If you have a few extra $ in your budget, I'd probably go some place else than to deal with the management company that oversees this property.
***SPOILER;; TLDR: The locks don’t work properly and we had someone walk in to our rental. Nobody came to fix the locks.***
First of all, they will not give you check-in information until the day of at the check-in time. Seemed reasonable. BUT — I was promised that the check-in information will show up on the company’s portal at 3PM (check-in time) but it never showed up, and probably never would have showed up if I didn’t call the company. So my partner and I had all our luggage and had to wait around hoping we didn’t get scammed until they finally texted us the access info. The portal was supposed to have the guest handbook, check-in info, wi-fi info, etc. but the portal never got updated so I had no access to those documents during my stay. I had to keep contacting the company and hope they’d reply back.
The apartment itself is what it is for the price. Wasn’t expecting anything fancy and knew it would be a bare-bones apartment. But what I didn’t expect was faulty locks (in a pretty cutty neighborhood), broken window blinds stuffed with paper towels, broken furnitures, and a basement trash dumpsters filled with trash bags.
