We stayed for three nights in June 2015. Arriving late afternoon we were warmly welcomed and before being shown to our room asked if we would like supper. The gardens are beautiful with a lovely sunset view, and the pool is very clean. Meals were local recipes, with no choice of courses, we enjoyed them but anyone with special requests would need to advise beforehand. Patricia, who manages the hotel, had had a new baby only two days before but was readily available to advise on trips, etc For this not wanting to drive into Santiago Patricia showed us where to drive into A Susana (10 minutes) in order to catch the hourly service bus into Santiago. She marked our map with places of interest and where the bus stops were.
The hotel is also very convenient for touring the north west coast up to Fisterra, which is well worth the drive.
Overall we are very pleased that we stayed three nights, as it gave time to see Santiago and the coastal areas with the benefits of being able to arrive back into comfortable surroundings.
