“The house was very clean. We were a bit startled at having to bring sheets and towels, but we got enough warning to be prepared. The instructions came in a strange way that was hard to read but I managed to enlarge them enough to print them and if we squinted we could work out the words. The location was quiet, with good views. The beds were comfortable. We found the light over the table not good enough to play board games, but we were able to use one of the bedside lamps.”

“It was a great room, well appointed & in a lovely location. Issues such as holes in window screens & chipped paintwork detracted from the quality of the accommodation. “Our stay at Warrenbayne Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Only 20mins out of Benalla, we were far enough away from town to feel quite serene, but with everything we needed at our fingertips. With a brilliant sized securely fenced block of land, our dogs had all the room in the world and two very friendly and tolerable Greyhounds to run around and enjoy themselves with. Mandy was an amazing host, we'll definitely be back again!!”

“We had a 3 night stay at Lake Escape. The property was ideal for our extended family with plenty of bedding options. We were disappointed with the BBQ and outdoor area. The BBQ was old, tired looking and not as clean as we would have liked so we chose not to use it, also the outdoor area was covered in cobwebs. Apart from this we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this property”

“This really is a piece of paradise...The location is amazing and the view from the house instance relaxation...The house is old so manage your expectation but it is a fabulous house we loved it and the bird life is just lovely to watch... “The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...
