But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. BUT i have to say the cost was at least double to what would have been a fair Off grid is one thing, but for that expense i was expecting a shared fridge and some solar lighting/electricity!! Rip...

“My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

“We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. ”

“This is an amazing property overlooking the sea. It is very modern, light and airy and has an incredibly calm vibe. The deck is perfect for enjoying the beautiful views of the sea and is incredibly private due to the positioning of trees to the left and right and below the property. “A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer.
